Abstract

The disposable dust bag (1) has a rigid plate (2) to fix the bag to a removable part (6a) of the body of the vacuum cleaner. The rigid plate (2) has a suction opening (3) that couples to a suction hose and a positioning opening (4) that co-operates with a positioning stud (5) mounted on the removable part (6a). The rigid plate fits over the end of the positioning stud, which has clips at the end to hold the plate once it is pushed into position. The plate can be released from the positioning stud to remove the bag by compressing the clips at the end of the stud. The removable part that carries the stud is supported by brackets (6) inside the vacuum cleaner when it is inserted in the cleaner body. <IMAGE>
