Abstract

A closure may be easily moved into an open and into a closed position and reliably seals an opening, for example of a container. To open and close the closure, a middle part (3) may be linearly moved or rotated between a top and a bottom part (2, 1). Pre-stressing the middle part (3) between top and bottom parts (2, 1) allows an opening to be sealed.
