Abstract

The invention relates to a protector element (2) formed from a plastic sheet or strip article (1) which has a planar part (3) and a planar part (4) having a notched formation, the part extending from a crease line (5) to define an angle between them such that the element is flexible and can be formed to a radius to be mounted on an edge of a coil of say steel to protect same from damage.
