Abstract

An intensive therapy bed comprises a mattress support (16) which is longitudinally slidable on a perimeter frame (12), and all of the mechanism 40 - 48 for causing the sliding and also for profiling the mattress frame as shown in Figure 1 is provided along one edge of the mattress frame.
