Abstract

A work platform and scaffolding unit are disclosed. The work platform is made up of a number of scaffolding units assembled in various configurations. Each scaffolding unit has two posts (1) and at least two cross bars (2). The posts have a belled lower end (6) and a swaged top (5) which fit together to provide the assembly. Rigidity is obtained by two spaced apart points of contact in the joints.
