Abstract

Apparatus for unrolling and severing material webs, especially cleaning cloths made of single-ply or multiply paper, consisting essentially of a tubular frame (1), a shaft (9) for receiving the roll of material web (26), and bearings for the shaft (9), characterised in that the tubular frame (1) comprises two U-shaped bars (2, 3), the shortened leg (4) of the large U-shaped bar (2) being connected rigidly to the small U-shaped bar (3), which is offset by 90 degrees with respect to the large U-shaped bar (2), in the region of the bridge (5), the large U-shaped bar (2) has bearings for receiving the shaft (9) in the central area (6) of the two legs (4, 7) and the traverse (10) of the large U-shaped bar (2) is provided with a pressure bar (11) which is pivotally mounted and biased by spring force in the direction towards the shaft (9).
