Abstract

Devices for storing strand-shaped material, flexible bars, cables or wires serve principally for pulling into cable conduits or reserve conduits which are laid in the walls of buildings. In order to provide a device for storing any strand-shaped material in which the material outlay and thus also the production outlay can be kept very small in proportion to the utilizable storage space, it is proposed that a self-contained circular housing tube (2) be provided in which an also circular storage tube (3) is rotatably guided and that the housing tube (2) has an opening (4) for the tangential pushing in and pulling out of the strand-shaped material (6, 18) and the storage tube (3) has a circular slit (5), corresponding to the position of the opening (4), for the passage of the strand-shaped material (6, 18). <IMAGE>
