Abstract
A DC power line communications systems which is scheduled between power transmission and data transmission by effecting impedance modulation of the DC source using a bus controller 4. If the communications bus 1 is electrically loaded then voltage modulation of the DC source is also effected in order to accommodate the presence of an electrical load whilst still scheduling the communications bus 1 between power transmission and data transmission.
