Abstract

1. System for application of glazing materials to earthenware and porcelain articles, particularly in the form of hollow ware, by briefly immersing these in a glazing suspension, where the earthenware or porcelain articles are positioned above the open end of a partially filled pot-shaped container for the glazing suspension positioned on a tiltable, rotatable bracket and are held in position by vacuum, and a filler pipe with shut off device for the glazing suspension and a vacuum pipe lead into the container, characterized by the fact that the filler pipe (7) for glazing suspension (14) is permanently connected via a delivery pump (19) to a reservoir (10) for the glazing suspension and is controllable by an electric-motor or electromagnetically actuatable valve (8), and that delivery pump (9) and valve (8) can be connected to a power source over a predetermined period of time by a time-switchable relay (13).
