Abstract

1. Disc roll for the rolling of sections, tubes and rounds, which is of multi-part construction comprising at least two concentric rings, an inner supporting ring (1) and an outer working ring (2), having mutual abutment surfaces (3, 4, 7 to 9, 11, 12) adapted to one another, and wherein the two rings are bonded to one another, characterised in that the connection between the supporting ring (1) and the working ring (2) is produced by shrink bonding, and the outer diameter of the supporting ring (1) is 0.1 to 0.40/00 larger than the inner diameter of the working ring (2) before the latter is pressed on to the supporting ring (1).
