Abstract

A compact air conditioning unit for dwellings or offices has an enclosure, made completely of plastic without any metallic part, which contains the whole layout and eliminates any possible cold bridges. The walls are pref. made of sandwich panels of GRP with a rigid polyurethane foam core. Unit comprises enclosure (1), rebated panel edge (2), air inlet louvre (3), filter (4), heat exchanger (5), liquid circulating pipe (6), fan (7) and edges (8) of the panels concerned. The panels have stepped edges for simple joints or for right angle joins. The completed walls are simple to instal together.
