Abstract

The invention concerns a radial piston pump with a multiplicity of radially disposed cylinder/pump assemblies with foot and head valves, the pistons being controlled by a cam plate which rotates eccentrically with respect to a housing holding the cylinders. In order to produce a simple design for a pump of this kind and to permit digital pump-throughput control, the invention calls for the space between the ends (12) of the cylinders (9) and their associated pistons (7) to be connected to a pressure line (19) via a valve (21, 22) which can be controlled at will, the pump pistons (7) preferably having different diameters.
