Schnellaufender Apparat fiir Filmaufnahmen.

High-speed apparatus for filming.
As is known, a two-pawl gripper is used in the conventional film take-up apparatus to move the film strip further, which gripper engages in the perforation of the film strip and is controlled by means of an eccentric disk. The device is completely sufficient for recordings of around 16 frames per second, as is customary in the production of an ordinary film,

The subject of the present invention is a mechanical high frequency apparatus for

u. Between shows: Fig. 1 shows the apparatus in a side view at the beginning of the image change, Fig. 2 shows the front view thereof, Fig. 3 shows the apparatus in a side view with the film tape fixed for recording. The film tape 1 intended for recording is over the toothed drum. 3, to which it is pressed by the roller 3 and enters the guide 4 between d01, provided with windows J, door 6 and 7.
Below the window 5, a roller 8 is arranged on the rope 7, half of the circumference of which is equal to an image length (19 mm), bears teeth 9, while the other half of the circumference is smooth. The teeth 9 engage through a corresponding recess 10 in the perforation 11 of the film tape 1 and trans-

with an unusually high number of images (130 images per second).
Since, however, with such rapid advancement of the film tape the same slips easily, which can endanger the entire recording, a further device is provided to prevent the same. On the shaft J8 of the gripper roller 8, an eccentric 13 is arranged, which rotates in the frame 14 and rests against the same on both sides. One arm of the frame 14 is extended upwards and is formed into a hook 15 which can engage in the perforation 11 of the film strip 1 through a recess 16. The eccentric 13 is now arranged in such a way that the hook 15 engages in the perforation 11 as soon as the last tooth 9 leaves the same, i.e. as soon as the film tape 1 would be transported by an image length.
At the moment when the first tooth 9 comes back into engagement with the perforation 11, the hook 15 is withdrawn therefrom and the film is transported. This game can be repeated very quickly without sacrificing security, so that around 130 images per second can be recorded with such an apparatus.
