Addressing machine for visible metal plate printing.

All addressing machines that have previously worked with metal plate printing are set up in such a way that the metal plates in or below the table level of the addressing machine in
 EMI1.1
convenient to read the addresses from the metal plates. Furthermore, this arrangement means that each sheet to be printed must be inserted into the machine individually and with the side to be printed facing down. so that the printed sheets have to be turned over individually to inspect the print.

These deficiencies are to be eliminated by the device described below. The sheets to be printed receive the imprint on the side facing the viewer, so that the impression is immediately visible without turning the sheet, and furthermore a stack of sheets to be printed can be placed in the machine each time, whereby the introduction of individual sheets avoids the work rate, so the speed is increased.

These advantages are achieved by the fact that the metal printing plates in the positive position of the writing in an above the table top; The guide arranged on the mailing machine can be brought under the printing pad while the ribbon is below the printing plate.

In the drawing, the new device is shown schematically.

Die'Druckplatten b are from the container a in a known manner, but in
 EMI1.2

A whole stack of sheets to be printed can now be brought into the intermediate space d, all of which face the viewer with the side to be printed.
By moving the pressure pad g down, the text on the printing plate is imprinted on the visible side of the top sheet. After the pillow has gone back, the printed sheet can be viewed without turning and taken away, whereupon immediately. t the next sheet of the stack can be printed on.
