Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schrank mit als Pult benutzbarer Tür. Es sind bereits Schränke dieser Art bekannt, bei denen die Stützvorrichtung für die Klapptür so ausgebildet ist, dass sie neben ihrer eigentlichen Aufgabe die Schreibplatte zu stützen in der hochgeklappten Lage als Verschluss für ein oberhalb der Schreibplatte befindliches Fach dient.
In wesentlichen besteht die Erfindung darin, dass der mit der Stützvorrichtung verschliessbare, unterhalb der Schreibplatte befindliche Raum mittels einer Schlitzöffnung der Stützvorrichtung als Briefeinwurf zugänglich ist. Hierdurch wird beim Öffnen der als Schreibplatte benutzbaren Schranktür gleichzeitig das untere Fach mitgeöffnet und ohne weiteres zur Benutzung freigegeben, indem die bei verschlossenem Fach eingeworfenen Briefe von links und rechts herausgenommen werden können.
Die Zeichnung zeigt eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Gegenstandes der Erfindung.
Fig. i ist eine Vorderansicht des Schrankes in der Verschlusslage, Fig. 2 ist eine solche in der Ofenlage und Fig, 3 ist ein Querschnitt nach Linie x-x der Fig. 2.
Der Verschluss des mit einem Bücherständer A und mit Fächern bzw. Räumen B-j (E ist je ein Geheimfach und F ist ein Stempelhalter) versehenen Schrankes erfolgt mittels des Schlosses s der Türen c durch ihre Lappen d in der Hochlage der Schreibplatte b und Unterplatte a, indem die Streben e der letzteren mit dem einen Ende in den Führungen der ersteren gleiten.

The invention relates to a cabinet with a door that can be used as a desk. Essentially, the invention consists in the fact that the space below the writing surface that can be closed with the support device is accessible as a letter slot by means of a slot opening in the support device. As a result, when the cabinet door that can be used as a writing surface is opened, the lower compartment is opened at the same time and is readily released for use, in that the letters thrown in when the compartment is closed can be removed from the left and right.
