   Bekanntlich tritt bei Einankerumformern mit Wendepolen im Fall eines Kurzschlusses auf der Gleichstromseite leicht Rundfeuer am Kollektor auf, durch welches häufig Bürsten und   Bürstenhalter unbrauchbar-gemacht   und der Kollektor selbst beschädigt wird. Um das   Rundfeuer,   welches in einer mangelhaften Ausbildung des Kommutierungsfeldes bei jener plötzlichen, gleichstromseitigen Stromerhöhung seine Ursache hat, zu verhüten, hat man vorgeschlagen, den Kern des Wendepoles ganz oder teilweise aus unmagnetischem Material auszubilden, Am bequemsten und billigsten ist es natürlich, diese Kernteile überhaupt fortzulassen, da Luft ja ebenfalls unmagnetisch ist. 



   Es hat sich nun als besonders vorteilhaft erwiesen, wenn der magnetische Teil des Wendepolkerns in der Richtung der Wicklungsachse der Wendespule unterteilt wird, wobei zwischen den eisernen Kernabschnitten solche aus unmagnetischem Material bzw. aus Luft liegen. Zweckmässig ist es, wenn einer der Kernabschnitte in möglichste Nähe der Ankeroberfläche angeordnet wird. Diese Bauart ist Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung und in der Figur dargestellt. Darin bedeutet, l den Umformeranker, i das Maschinenjoch und w die Wendepolspule. Der magnetische Teil des Wendepolkernes ist in drei Abschnitte el,   ca   und e2 unterteilt, die durch die unmagnetischen Lufträume 11 und   12   unterbrochen sind. 



  Der Teil   e1   des Kernes liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe des Ankers a, der Teil es unmittelbar am Joch i. Zur besseren Beherrschung der Form des Wendefeldes empfiehlt es sich, den Wendepol konstruktiv so   abzuändern,   dass der Abschnitt el so nahe als möglich an die Ankeroberfläche   heranrückt.
