   Die gewöhnlichen   Glntinleime   sind für viele Verwendungszwecke ungeeignet, weil sie einerseits wann   verarbeitet werden müssen und andererseits, einmal   erstarrt, sich leicht wieder in Wasser lösen. 



     Diesen Lbelständen   wird durch den nachfolgend beschriebenem Leim abgeholfen. 



   Man kann eine colloidale Leimlösung in   kaltflüssigem Zustande erbalten, wenn man   die Wasserstoffionenkonzentration erhöht. Dies erfolgt z. B. durch Zusatz von Säuren oder sauren Salzen. Fügt man ausserdem solcher Leimlösung noch coagulierend oder gerbend wirkende Substanzen hinzu, so erhält man nach dem Trocknen eine feste Masse, die in Wasser wohl noch aufquillt, sich jedoch nicht mehr löst. Als derartige Substanzen, die verhältnismässig langsam wirken   müssen. kommen z. B.   in Frage :   Formaldebyd, I'ara-   formaldehyd, alaun, Chromalaun.

   Ordinary glues are unsuitable for many purposes because, on the one hand, when they have to be processed and, on the other hand, once they have solidified, they can easily be dissolved again in water.



     The glue described below can help remedy this.



   A colloidal glue solution can be obtained in a cold liquid state if the hydrogen ion concentration is increased. This is done e.g. B. by adding acids or acidic salts. If substances with a coagulating or tanning effect are also added to such a glue solution, a solid mass is obtained after drying, which still swells in water, but no longer dissolves. As such substances that have to act relatively slowly. come z. B. in question: formaldehyde, I'ara-formaldehyde, alum, chrome alum.
