Verfahren zum Herstellen von Rohren, deren. Wandungen aus zwei oder mehreren innig miteinander verbundenen Lagen bestehen.
Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zum Herstellen von, gegen hohen Innendruck äusserst widerstandsfähigen Rohren. Dasselbe besteht darin, dass man über ein

schweissung der einzelnen Robrlagen untereinander eintritt.
Das Verfahren vollzieht sich in folgender Weise :
Eine weissglühende Platte a (Fig. 1) von geeigneter Grösse wird durch Ziehen durch einen Trichter b (Fig. 2) mit ihren Rändern zusammengeschweisst und dadurch zum Rohre c geformt. Um die Schweissung möglichst dicht zu machen, wiederholt man gegebenen Falls das Ziehen durch den Trichter. Das auf diese Weise gebildete Rohr wird auf eine zweite Platte d (Fig. (}) aufgelegt, eventuell auch an der Spitze auf derselben festgeschweisst, worauf man das Ganze auf Schweisstemperatur erhitzt, durch einen zweiten Trichter e (Fig. 4) zieht, durch welchen die Ränder von d gegeneinander gebogen und ebenfalls zu- sammengeschweisst werden.
Der Durchmesser des Trichters e ist derartig bemessen, dass beim Durchziehen auch das erste Rohr c noch eine geringe Streckung erfährt. Die Wandungen des sich bildenden Rohres d werden also mit starkem Druck auf die Wandungen des bereits fertigen Rohres c gepresst und worden daher an diese angeschweisst werden.
Das Auflegen von c auf d erfolgt zweckmässig derartig, dass die beiden Schweissnähte gegeneinander versetzt sind.
Das erhaltene Rohr f (Fig. 5) besteht also aus zwei ineinandergeschobenen,'mit ihren Schweissnähten gegeneinander versetzten, und auf ihrer ganzen Berührungsfläche miteinander verschweissten Rohren.
Durch eventuelle Wiederholung des gleichen Verfahrens kann man die Wandungan des Rohres durch Aufschweissen neuer Platten beliebig verstärken.

The procedure is as follows:
An incandescent plate a (Fig. 1) of suitable size is welded together with its edges by pulling through a funnel b (Fig. 2) and thereby formed into a tube c. In order to make the weld as tight as possible, the pulling through the funnel is repeated if necessary. The tube formed in this way is placed on a second plate d (Fig. (}), Possibly also welded to the tip on the same, whereupon the whole thing is heated to welding temperature and pulled through a second funnel e (Fig. 4) which the edges of d are bent towards each other and also welded together.
The diameter of the funnel e is dimensioned in such a way that when it is pulled through the first tube c also experiences a slight stretching. The walls of the pipe d which is being formed are therefore pressed with strong pressure onto the walls of the pipe c which has already been completed and are therefore welded to them.
It is practical if c is placed on d in such a way that the two weld seams are offset from one another.
The tube f obtained (FIG. 5) thus consists of two tubes which are pushed into one another, with their weld seams offset from one another, and which are welded to one another over their entire contact surface.
By possibly repeating the same process, the wall of the pipe can be reinforced as required by welding on new plates.
