Boxer game, consisting of two movable ones to be operated by the players
Articulated figures.
EMI1.1
The first is capable of producing the movement of one arm independently of that of the second, the second of which is capable of producing the movement of the second arm independent of that of the first, the third is able to produce the back and forth movement of the figure and the fourth can produce the crouching of the torso . The boxing match can therefore be imitated, which is not the case with the known fighting games of the specified genre. Part of the invention also forms the device which indicates the execution of the correct final stroke.
The drawing shows a schematic representation of an embodiment of the new game, namely Fig. 1 is a diagram. While Figs. 2 to 5 illustrate details.
The two figures B1 and B2 (Fig. 1) are on a table 1, on which pedals
EMI1.2
should.
Each figure consists (FIG. 2) of the head 2, the impact arm 3, the impact arm 4, the upper part 5 and the lower part 6.
One leg of the lower part 6 is traversed by a tube 8 which is fixedly seated on a plate 7 and which is attached at its upper end by wires 9 to the upper edge of the lower part 6 of the figure. The upper part 5 of the figure is connected to the lower part by a strong spiral spring 10, which is expediently covered by a sash 11.
At the upper end of the tube 8 sits a spiral spring 14 enclosed between two plates 12, 13. The tube 8 and the spring 14 are traversed by several cords. which emerge through the plate 7 downwards. The purpose of the spring is to enable the cords to move sideways when the cords are pulled too high, thereby protecting the cords.
The pull cord forks at the top exit from the spring 14 and is shown in FIG. 16, 16 '. Upper part 5 attached, while it is firmly connected to the pedal 17 below the plate 7. By depressing the pedal 17 in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2, the upper part,) of the foliage mur is pulled down, which is equivalent to crouching. If the pressure on the left pedal decreases, the spring 10, which was previously tensioned, brings it. the figure top 5 In di? previous location.
Another F. churzug 19, to be actuated by another pedal 18, is firmly connected to the plate 7 carrying the figure. The latter runs on rails by means of the roller 20 and can therefore be moved back and forth in the horizontal plane by depressing the pedal 18
EMI1.3
(Fig. 2). which, when the pedal 18 is released, return the plate to its previous position. In Fig. 2 the pedal 18 is depressed, in which case z. B. the right figure B2 (Fig. 1) is on the far right.
The left arm 4 of the right or the right arm of the left figure is designed as a striking arm. It is connected to the upper part 5 of the figure by a joint 24 and can be swung out around the joint 24 in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2 by means of the cord 26 leading to the hand lever 25. For this purpose, the starting from the hand lever 25 leads
EMI1.4
if the hand lever 25 is depressed, the spring 98 is first compressed and then the striking arm 4 is swung out around the joint 24. If the pressure on the hand lever 25 decreases, the spring 29 brings the striking arm 4 and the hand lever 25 back into their previous position.
To support this effect, a counterweight 55 can be arranged on the elbow of the striking arm.
The right arm of the right figure or the left arm of the left figure is designed as a push arm 3 and can be moved back and forth in the direction of the arrow in FIGS. For this purpose it is guided in a slot 31 of the upper part 5 of the figure by means of a pin 30 (FIG. 3). The movement of the push arm 3 takes place by means of the pull cord 32 which passes through the tube 8 and the spring 14 and which leads beneath the plate 7 to an additional hand lever JJ. The connection of the cord 32 with the push arm 3 is done. as earlier with the striking arm, with the aid of a plate 27 'guided in a housing 28' against the action of a spring 29 1, to which parts the guide roller 34 also occurs in the present case.
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
The head 2 is connected to the upper part 5 of the figure by the hinge 35. In the lower part, the head is traversed by a double-armed lever 36, 37, which is rotatably mounted in the supports 38 extending from the neck section of the figurine body, at one end articulated to the head with play in the joint 39 in the area of the chin and
EMI2.1
a strip 47 provided on the lower edge of the head part 2 is usually seated.
If the plate 43 is pushed back in the direction of the arrow in FIG. 2 and thereby shifted under the bar 47, the head part 2 can rotate in the joint 35 and into the position shown in FIG
EMI2.2
the crank 42 is rotated accordingly, the double-armed lever 36, 37 is pivoted and thereby raises the bar again so that the tensioned spring 46 can bring the plate 43 back into the higher position.
The game is played in the following way: The two players take up chairs in front of the
EMI2.3
the hand. By pressing down the pedals or the lever, the described movements of the individual parts of the figure are brought about, and it is important that one figure, due to the speed, dexterity and strength of the player operating it, hits the other figure's chin, causing its head to sink Game decides; then by turning the crank 42 the head of the figure in question is raised again by the game master or the end of the game.
In the embodiment described, the final blow is to be exerted on the chin of the opposing figure. However, it is only essential that the head is initially supported in the raised position by a movable base which, when the correct final blow is executed, is adjusted in such a way that the head is released and sinks down; the game can therefore also be set up in such a way that another part of the body has to be hit to trigger this effect.
In order to bring about an easier or more difficult drooping of the head depending on the age or sex of the player during the decisive final blow, the head 2 can be under the action of a re-tensionable spring which tries to pull it into the relevant position. So z. B. on the back of the Finir or the same penetrating and exiting from it at a suitable point, a pull rod under the action of a spring 48 lead 49 (Fig. 5) to the head and be attached to this in meters. The spring 48 is between a stop 50 located on the figure and washer J7 of the head of the pull rod 49
EMI2.4
A machine can be connected to the table which only releases the movement mechanisms after a coin has been inserted into an opening provided for this purpose (e.g. 52 in FIG. 1) and which inhibits them again after a certain time has elapsed. In order to make the figures more life-like, they can be provided with pendulum eyes 53, 54 (FIG. 4) similar to sleeping dolls.
