Description

Ans so hergestellten Geflechten bzw.

Process for the production of fabrics from leather.

Attempts have already been made to make leather and fabric waste usable again by sewing together individual patches, and sometimes the upper leather of shoes has been made from stitched leather patches of different sizes. It has also been suggested to use leather washers by reaming means in the form of tapes or wires to make drive belts or soles.

The invention now follows a completely new way of utilizing arbitrary cases. With the invention, even the smallest remainder of the waste material is returned to the natural areas of application of the original material.

The invention consists in first producing longitudinal strips of any length from the waste, for example leather waste, by lining them up on ribbons or wires, which are then connected to one another by braiding to form a flat structure.

The longitudinal strips used to produce the braid therefore do not form strips cut from the solid, but are obtained in that evenly trimmed waste material, lined up vertically, is connected to one another. Utensils, such as workers 'aprons, jackets, workers' gloves or the like, should be produced or cut out on the braids or flat structures produced in this way, which are not limited in any direction.

The invention is explained with reference to the drawing.

According to the same, the flat structure is obtained in such a way that first the individual bands or strips a and b are made from otherwise worthless waste in the form of disks c and stringing means d and then these longitudinal strips of unlimited length are intertwined, whereby a flat structure of any desired Can produce greatness.

The commodities made from the same are as applicable as those made from full-fledged material, but are much cheaper, and thus the most advantageous recycling of waste, e.g. B. the leather achieved.
