Fig. 3 ist eine Oberansicht im Schnitt.
 EMI1.1

Picker guide for overlap looms with automatic bobbin exchange.

Various attempts have already been made to provide the overlap loom with automatic bobbin replacement from above; The indispensable picker spindle, on which the picker runs and which, in its usual arrangement, hinders the automatic bobbin replacement or makes it impossible, has been moved up or down to the side in order to free the space above the contactor box.

According to the present invention, two picker spindles are provided one behind the other, on which the picker is guided in such a way that the empty tube to be ejected can pass between the spindles. As a result, the picker is attacked by the shooter in the middle or the attack point is exactly in the middle between the two spindles.

With the arrangement of the pieker spindles in the manner described above, a path is created for the empty bobbin to be ejected which it can pass without any difficulty.

Another advantage is that that part (guide piece) of the picker that runs on the spindles is made of VulkanBber and has openings on the sides so that, on the one hand, the friction between vulcanized fiber and iron is low and, on the other, because the air can sweep freely around the rubbing parts, the spindles never warm up.

Attempts have already been made to guide the picker in the rifle box plate in grooves at Oberschiagwebstühien, but this is inevitable with automatic chairs, since the picker guide has to be oiled, otherwise the picker will warm up. If one were to oil the grooves, the wood guard would come into contact with oil, would be impaired in the course and the fabric would be soiled.

In the drawings, embodiments are shown. Fig. 1 is a front view, partly in section, Fig. 2 is a side view. Fig. 3 is a top sectional view.
 EMI1.1
it is formed in two parts as is known per se and consists of a guide piece 13 (FIG. 4) and the actual driver 14 (FIG. 5).
