leitung 2, AR, Batterie, Erde).

<Desc/Clms Page number 3>

line 2, AR, battery, earth). In addition, at J it applies to the low-resistance winding of the relay T battery in order to create the potential necessary for searching for the calling line.
Relay AR closes the circuit for relays D1 and V of all free call seekers at 4 (earth, battery, breaker U, 4, D1, contact 5, V, contact 12, earth). Relay V responds and prepares the test circuit for v, which is established as soon as a call seeker has found the line of subscriber T1 (earth, battery, 3, low-resistance winding of T, contact c, relay P, v, earth). The relays P and T respond. While P short-circuits its high-resistance winding at $ 8, relay T switches on his at 9. At the same time, 10 and 11 are switched through (relay R de-energized, contact 3 open) and the circuit for relays V and D is interrupted at 12, so that the caller AS. stop.
The call finder will

of V to maintain the holding circuit for P.
The call seekers are given away with a fourth contact arm and the line of the subscriber in the office also has four contacts. An auxiliary relay HR is connected to contact d via LeitUJ1g d21. This is not excited when a call seeker is placed on the calling line via the resistor w1 located on the fourth contact arm of the call seeker, since the current is then too low. But if a second caller is on the same line, the relay HR responds, because then two resistors z. B. w1, wn are parallel, and switches to earth at 15 on the bus 2, so that the call relay Jss can respond again. As a result, all free call searchers continue to run.
The relay HR drops its anchor 15 immediately as soon as the call seeker set in pairs has run away from the contact. The movement of the free call seekers, however, continues as long as two call seekers are still on any

to the line: 2 earth is placed.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 2, it is assumed that a free retrieval. Plier can adjust to a contact on which a call seeker who has already been connected is standing.
EMI2.3
If the searchers are at rest, an interrupter U 'is applied to line d via a break contact 17 of relay V. If another call seeker comes to the same contact, he will be driven on.
Because the delay relay V lying in series with the drive magnet D of this caller keeps the contact 18 closed for a moment, so that from earth via the interruption U 'and the d-line of the already set caller a current pulse through contact 18. the line 19, the Operating magnet D, relay V, 12, comes to the battery, which drives the call seeker further.
It can now happen that when examining the mounted dialer in the control center, the call seekers are adjusted by the examining mechanic by hand, so that two call seekers are set to the same contact without the second test device taking effect. There would then be the case which is to be avoided by the present invention, namely the simultaneous switching through of two call shears, because the excitation of the relay V, which occurs in the normal operation of the call seekers, is omitted. For this case, a key Ta is provided in the circuit according to FIG. 3. As soon as the mechanic has adjusted a call seeker, he presses the key Tn individually assigned to this call seeker.
Relay V is then energized, which at 18 switches on the second test device, magnet D, to line d. If this contact is otherwise busy, the call seeker is forwarded in the manner described above.
However, it is not necessary to provide a special key Ta. The same can be achieved by a contact on the pawl of the call seeker or on the armature of the magnet D.
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
If the mechanic adjusts the call seeker, the pawl and thus the armature of the magnet D are of course also affected. This allows a contact to be parallel to the contact
EMI3.1
the armature of D mechanically presses the armature of V and thus the contact 18 closes.
