Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>
Membrangeber für Unterwasserschallsignale.
EMI1.1

EMI2.1

Membrane transducer for underwater sound signals.

EMI2.1
The stem of the tuning fork D is attached to the side wall A. The pair of electromagnets 0 is arranged between the prongs. If the pair of electric magnets is excited, the tuning fork D begins to vibrate, which is transmitted in the required transmission ratio to the side wall A and from there to the adjoining water B.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 2 differs from the embodiment according to FIG. 1 in that a spring H is connected between the stem of the tuning fork D and the membrane A. A further amplitude translation takes place between the stem of the fork and the diaphragm and the tuning fork therefore does not need to be dimensioned in such a way that it itself provides the full amount of the required translation.
