Anlasseinrichtung von In Kaskaden geschalteten Maschinengruppen.
Das im Patente Nr. 60318 beschriebene Anlassen von in Kaskaden geschalteten Maschinengruppen oder Umformern beruht auf der Eigenschaft der Maschinen mit mehr- phaaigem Stator und einphasigem Rotor bei der halben Rotationsgeschwindigkeit des Primärfeldes eine zweite, stabile Synchrongeschwindigkeit zu haben. Es ist bekannt, dass solche Maschinen vom Stillstand bis zur halben Geschwindigkeit des Drehfeldes als Motor, von dort bis zu zwei Drittel dieser Geschwindigkeit als Generator und darüber hinaus wieder als Motor arbeiten.
Wesentlich ist, dass diese Eigenschaft sich nor dann klar zeigt, wenn der Ohmsche Widerstand der Einphasenwicklung zu vernachlässigen ist. Schaltet man nämlich in den einphasigen Rotor einen zu grossen Widerstand ein, so hebt man die Eigenschaft des Funktionieren der Maschine als Generator auf, desgleichen auch die Stabilität des Laufes bei der halben Synchrongeschwindigkeit : diese Wirkung tritt al) er nicht ein, wenn man an Stelle dieses Widerstandes einphasige Reaktanz setzt.
Die Erfindung besteht nun dann, bei der Anlasseinrichtung nach Patent Nr. 60318 in den einphasigen Rotor, d. 11. zwischen zwei der Ringe, welche an die Wicklungen des Rotors angeschlossen sind, statt eines einphasigen Widerstandes Aine einphasige Reaktanz einzuschalten ; in diesem Falle bietet die Gruppe oder die Maschine die oberwähnten Eigenschaften dar, da durch die wattlosen Komponenten keine Änderungen in der Verschiebung der Felder hervorgerufen werden.

The starting of cascaded machine groups or converters described in patent no. 60318 is based on the property of machines with a multi-phase stator and single-phase rotor to have a second, stable synchronous speed at half the rotational speed of the primary field. It is known that such machines work from standstill to half the speed of the rotating field as a motor, from there up to two thirds of this speed as a generator and beyond that again as a motor.
It is essential that this property is clearly evident when the ohmic resistance of the single-phase winding is negligible. If one switches on too great a resistance in the single-phase rotor, one cancels out the property of functioning of the machine as a generator, likewise the stability of the run at half the synchronous speed: this effect does not take place if one takes it this resistance sets single-phase reactance.
The invention consists in the starting device according to patent no. 60318 in the single-phase rotor, i. 11. between two of the rings which are connected to the windings of the rotor, instead of a single-phase resistor, a single-phase reactance is switched on; in this case the group or the machine offers the properties mentioned above, since the wattless components do not cause any changes in the displacement of the fields.
