Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein Sitzmöbel, wie einen Hocker, Schemel o. ä., welches im Zusammenwirken mit einem weiteren Sitzmöbel, vorzugsweise mit einem Polstermöbel mit Rückenlehne, zur Beinhochlagerung genutzt werden kann.
Kombinationen dieser Art sind bei Polstermöbelgarnituren oder Wohnland- schaften üblich. Diese Garnituren bestehen je nach Kundenwunsch aus einer mehrsitzigen Bank, sowie einem oder mehreren Polstersesseln und Hockern. Positioniert der Möbelbenützer einen dieser Hocker vor der Sitzbank oder einem Polstersessel, kann er durch Auflegen der Beine auf dem Hocker eine entspannende Sitzstellung oder Relaxposition einnehmen.
Dabei zeigt sich jedoch, dass durch die in einer Ebene liegende Sitz- und Beinauflagefläche auch bereits nach kurzer Benutzungsdauer Muskelverspannungen oder
Störungen der Durchblutung in den Beinen auftreten können. Bedeutend angenehmer und entspannender wird eine Lage der Unterschenkel empfunden, bei der der Unterschenkel zum Oberschenkel schwach gewinkelt bleibt - deren Auflagefläche also zur Sitzebene geneigt ist und daher zum Fussbereich hin abfällt.
Die Erfindung hat es sich daher zum Ziele gesetzt, ein Sitzmöbel der eingangs genannten Art zu schaffen, welches im Zusammenwirken mit einem weiteren Sitzmöbel eine angenehmere und entspannendere Sitzstellung oder Relaxposition als bisher bekannt, ermöglicht.
Erreicht wird dieses Ziel dadurch, dass der Oberteil des Sitzmöbels von einer annähernd waagrechten Sitzstellung in mindestens eine weitere, schräg abfallende Beinauflagestellung bringbar ist und umgekehrt.
Dabei ist es zweckmässig, wenn der Oberteil in an sich bekannter Weise an einer Seite mit dem Untergestell schwenkbar verbunden ist und wenn mindestens ein anstellbarer Stützarm, vorzugsweise ein Stützarmpaar vorgesehen ist, welches die Umwandlung des Sitzmöbels ermöglicht.
Dabei kann der Stützarm oder das Stützarmpaar mittels eines Zugbandes o. ä. in die angestellte Position gebracht werden, bei der der Oberteil zum Untergestell angehoben ist.
Weiters kann der Stützarm oder das Stützarmpaar in seiner angestellten Position mit einem Anschlag zusammenwirken, der am Oberteil vorgesehen ist und ihn/es in dieser angestellten Position hält. Durch Anheben des Oberteils wird der An-

schlag wieder ausser Eingriff gebracht und der Stützarm schwenkt konstruktionsbedingt in seine Verwahrungslage im Untergestell zurück.
Auch ist es bei einer anderen Ausführungsform zweckmässig, wenn der Oberteil in an sich bekannter Weise an einer Seite mit dem Untergestell schwenkbar verbunden ist und wenn mindestens ein Rastbeschlag oder Hochstellbeschlag vorgesehen ist, welcher die Umwandlung des Sitzmöbels ermöglicht.
Vorzugsweise kann auch der Oberteil mit einer Polsterauflage und einem von dieser abnehmbaren Polster ausgebildet sein.
Hier ist es auch zweckmässig, wenn die Polsterauflage zumindest im Bereich der Fussauflage wasch-bzw. reinigungsbar ausgebildet ist.
Nachstehend ist die Erfindung anhand mehrerer in den Abbildungen dargestell- ter Ausmhrungsbeispiele näher beschrieben, ohne jedoch auf die hier gezeigten Bei- spiele beschränkt zu sein. Dabei wird zum Zwecke der Verdeutlichung das jeweils gezeigte Sitzmöbel vertikal geschnitten dargestellt.
So zeigt Fig. 1 eine Ausführungs- form des erfindungsgemässen Sitzmöbels mit dem Oberteil in annähernd waagrechter
Sitzstellung ; Fig. 2 zeigt das Sitzmöbel vor einem Polstersessel positioniert, in Kombination mit diesem und in schräg abfallender Beinauflagestellung ; Fig. 3 zeigt eine andere Ausführungsform des Sitzmöbels mit dem Oberteil in annähernd waagrechter Sitzstellung ; Fig. 4 zeigt das Möbel in Kombination und wieder in schräg abfallender Beinauflagestellung ; Fig. 5 und Fig. 6 zeigen die Sitz- und die schräg abfallende Beinauflagestellung einer weiteren Ausführungsform mit integriertem Stauraum und mit einem von der Polsterauflage abnehmbaren Polster.
Aus Stabilitätsgründen des Möbels zeigt es sich sinnvoll, funktionsbewirkende Teile wie Stützarme, Scharniere, Rastbeschläge usw. paarweise anzuordnen. In der folgenden Beschreibung wird zum Zwecke der Vereinfachung jedoch nur eine Seite beschieben ; demnach werden diese Teile in der Einzahl benannt.
Gemäss der Abbildung in Fig. 1 ist ein Oberteil 1 eines hockerartigen Sitzmöbels mittels eines Scharniers 7 mit einem Untergestell 6 schwenkbar verbunden und liegt in der gezeigten Sitzstellung auf diesem auf. Ein Stützarm 8 ist dabei im Untergestell 6 eingeschwenkt. Hebt man den Oberteil 1 an der dem Scharnier 7 entgegengesetzten Seite an, wird der Zugriff auf ein Zugband 9 ermöglicht, mit deren Hilfe der Stützarm 8 hochgestellt werden kann. Wird danach der Oberteil 1 wieder abgesetzt,

wird er vom hochgestellten Stützarm 8 in der schräg abfallenden Beinauflagestellung gehalten. Ein Anschlag 5, der am Oberteil 1 vorgesehen ist und der mit dem Stützarm
8 zusammenwirkt, verhindert ein unbeabsichtigtes Zurückschwenken des Stützarms 8.
Das Sitzmöbel wird in dieser Beinauflagestellung und in Kombination mit einem Polstersessel 12 in Fig. 2 gezeigt.
Die Rückumwandlung erfolgt durch Anheben des Oberteils 1. Dadurch wird der Anschlag 5 ausser Eingriff gebracht und der Stützarm 8 schwenkt konstruktionsbedingt in das Untergestell 6. Der Oberteil 1 kann auf das Untergestell 6 aufgelegt werden - die in Fig. 1 gezeigte Sitzstellung ist erreicht.
Bei der in Fig. 3 und Fig. 4 gezeigten Ausführungsform erfolgt die Umwandlung von der Beinauflagestellung ausgehend. Hebt man den Oberteil 1 aus seiner in Fig. 4 gezeigten, schräg abfallenden Beinauflagestellung an, wird ein Rastbeschlag 10 aktiviert und hält den Oberteil 1 in einer annähernd waagrechten, in Fig. 3 gezeigten Sitzstellung. Nach neuerlichem Anheben des Oberteils 1 wird der Rastbeschlag 10 deaktiviert und der Oberteil 1 kann wieder auf des Untergestell 6 abgesetzt werden-die in Fig. 4 gezeigte Beinauflagestellung ist erreicht.
Die in Fig. 5 und Fig. 6 gezeigte Ausführungsform besitzt einen im Untergestell 6 integrierten Stauraum 11 und einen von einer Polsterauflage 3 abnehmbaren Polster 2. Durch den Einsatz eines Doppelscharniers 7'und eines speziellen Hochstellbeschlags 10'lässt sich der Oberteil 1 in eine vertikale Lage anheben und ermöglicht dadurch den Zugriff in den Stauraum 11. Zum Erreichen der in Fig. 6 gezeigten Beinauflagestellung entfernt man den Polster 2 von der Polsterauflage 3 und hebt diese an. Durch den aktivierten Hochstellbeschlag 10'wird die Polsterauflage 3 in der in Fig. 6 gezeigten, schräg abfallenden Beinauflagestellung gehalten. Die Polsterauflage 3 ist hier im Bereich der Fussauflage 4 wasch-bzw. reinigungsbar ausgebildet.
Durch neuerliches Anheben der Polsterauflage 3 wird der Hochstellbeschlag 10'deaktiviert und die Polsterauflage 3 kann auf das Untergestell 6 und daran anschliessend der Polster 2 auf die Polsterauflage 3 aufgelegt werden-die in Fig. 5 gezeigte Sitzstellung ist erreicht.
Im Rahmen dieser Erfindung sind zahlreiche Abänderungen möglich. So kann ein anderes als das gezeigte Scharnier 7 Verwendung finden. An Stelle des Doppelschamiers 7'kann mit Hilfe eines Viergelenkbeschlags der Stauraum 11 zugänglich

gemacht werden. Auch können andere als der gezeigte Rast-10 oder Hochstellbeschlag 10'die Umwandlung ermöglichen. Der Anschlag 5 könnte im Untergestell 1 vorgesehen sein. Auch könnte das erfindungsgemässe Sitzmöbel als mehrsitziges Möbel gestaltet sein ; usw.

The invention relates to a piece of seating furniture, such as a stool, stool or the like, which can be used in conjunction with another seating furniture, preferably with upholstered furniture with a backrest, for elevating the legs.
Combinations of this type are common for upholstered furniture or residential landscapes. Depending on customer requirements, these sets consist of a multi-seat bench, one or more upholstered armchairs and stools. If the furniture user positions one of these stools in front of the bench or an upholstered armchair, he can take a relaxing sitting or relaxing position by laying his legs on the stool.

The invention therefore has set itself the goal of creating a piece of seating furniture of the type mentioned at the outset, which, in cooperation with a further piece of seating furniture, enables a more comfortable and relaxing sitting position or relaxing position than previously known.
This goal is achieved in that the upper part of the seating furniture can be brought from an approximately horizontal sitting position into at least one further, sloping leg rest position and vice versa.
It is expedient if the upper part is pivotally connected to the underframe on one side in a manner known per se and if at least one adjustable support arm, preferably a pair of support arms, is provided which enables the conversion of the seating furniture.
The support arm or the pair of support arms can be brought into the employed position by means of a drawstring or the like, in which the upper part is raised to the underframe.
Furthermore, the support arm or the pair of support arms can cooperate in its employed position with a stop which is provided on the upper part and holds it in this employed position. By lifting the upper part the

knocked out of engagement again and the support arm swivels back into its storage position in the base frame by design.
In another embodiment, it is also expedient if the upper part is pivotally connected to the base frame on one side in a manner known per se and if at least one latching fitting or raised fitting is provided which enables the conversion of the seating furniture.
The upper part can also preferably be designed with a cushion pad and a cushion that can be removed from it.
It is also expedient here if the cushion cover is washable or at least in the area of the footrest. is designed to be cleanable.
The invention is described in more detail below with reference to several exemplary embodiments shown in the figures, but without being restricted to the examples shown here. The seating shown is shown cut vertically for the purpose of illustration.

For reasons of stability of the furniture, it makes sense to arrange functionally effective parts such as support arms, hinges, locking fittings, etc. in pairs. In the following description, however, only one side is described for the purpose of simplification; therefore these parts are named in the singular.
According to the illustration in FIG. 1, an upper part 1 of a stool-like piece of furniture is pivotably connected to a base frame 6 by means of a hinge 7 and rests on the base frame in the seat position shown. A support arm 8 is pivoted into the base frame 6. If the upper part 1 is raised on the side opposite the hinge 7, access to a tension band 9 is made possible, with the aid of which the support arm 8 can be raised. If the upper part 1 is then removed again,

it is held by the raised support arm 8 in the sloping leg rest position. A stop 5, which is provided on the upper part 1 and with the support arm
8 interacts, prevents the support arm 8 from inadvertently pivoting back.
The seating furniture is shown in this leg support position and in combination with an upholstered armchair 12 in FIG. 2.
The conversion back is carried out by lifting the upper part 1. As a result, the stop 5 is disengaged and the support arm 8 swivels into the lower frame 6 by design. The upper part 1 can be placed on the lower frame 6 - the seating position shown in FIG. 1 has been reached.
In the embodiment shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, the conversion takes place starting from the leg support position. If the upper part 1 is raised from its sloping leg support position shown in FIG. 4, a latching fitting 10 is activated and holds the upper part 1 in an approximately horizontal sitting position shown in FIG. 3. After the upper part 1 has been raised again, the latching fitting 10 is deactivated and the upper part 1 can be placed back on the base frame 6 - the leg rest position shown in FIG. 4 has been reached.
The embodiment shown in FIGS. 5 and 6 has a storage space 11 integrated in the base frame 6 and a cushion 2 which can be removed from an upholstery support 3. The use of a double hinge 7 'and a special mounting bracket 10' allows the upper part 1 to be vertical Raise the position and thereby allows access to the storage space 11. To reach the leg rest position shown in FIG. 6, the cushion 2 is removed from the cushion rest 3 and raised. Numerous modifications are possible within the scope of this invention. A hinge 7 other than that shown can thus be used. Instead of the double hinge 7 ', the storage space 11 can be accessed with the aid of a four-bar fitting

be made. The conversion can also be made possible by means of the rest 10 or the elevation fitting 10 'other than that shown. The stop 5 could be provided in the base frame 1. The seating furniture according to the invention could also be designed as multi-seat furniture; etc.
