Combined bell and light signal.
The invention is used to supplement an electrical bell operated by a button from the house gate or any remote point by a simultaneously appearing light signal, which remains until it is switched off in order to create a complete wake-up or alarm device at night.
The device consists in bringing an electric bell or bell signal provided with a chime or chime device in such a connection with a light source (incandescent lamp or the like) connected to a special battery or an electric luminous flux, so that when the chime is switched on by the Press the button in addition to the well-known device of the sounding apparatus at the same time the contact closure for the incandescent lamp is established and the same remains until it is switched off by hand.
The subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in FIGS. 1 to 4 and show Fig. 1 an electrical bell mechanism with the known device for continuous ringing as well as a subsequent switch for the light signal in a view, Fig. 1 a the progressing apparatus in side view, Fig. 2 the Light source with battery, FIG. 3 shows a different arrangement of the on-switch, and FIG. 4 shows the top view of the on-switch

rotatably mounted advance lever b, which is released by the tightening of the armature d on the coils e and closes the battery circuit by means of the contact spring g. The bells are set by pulling the pull rod f, which is normally held up by a spiral spring resting against the collar h.
When it is tightened, the lever b is brought to latch again by an extension on the collar, thus putting the bell back out of operation.
According to the invention, the bell hammer part is provided with a pin i which, when the hammer is at rest, supports the hinge-like end k of a vertically guided or swingingly mounted metal plate, but releases the same when it first hits the bell so that its resilient end m engages both contact sheets? : o the incandescent lamp p is applied and the circuit of the dry cell battery g or another power source closes. 1 and 4 show the straight-line guidance of a switch 1 by means of guide rod r and guide fork s; When the on-switch according to FIG. 3 is oscillating, one end is loaded and the contacts are touched from below.
To turn off the light, the bell is stopped by rod f and

and thereby the circuit for the incandescent lamp is continuously opened again.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Combined bell and light signal, characterized in that a bell mechanism provided with an advancing device causes an on-switch (k, 1, m) to be triggered when the button is pressed by pulling the bell hammer, which closes the circuit of an incandescent lamp or the like and until the power switch is lifted.
