   Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf   Schuhwerkabsätze   und Sohlen, die zur Verhütung einer allzuraschen Abnützung mit eingelassenen Zapfen oder Pflöcken ausgestattet sind. 



   Bisher wurden in der Schuhtechnik zu diesem Zwecke Pflöcke oder Platten aus Metall, Gummi und auch Glasstücke verwendet, die in die genannten Schuhwerksteile eingelassen oder in sonst geeigneter Weise befestigt sind. 



   Aus solchen Stoffen hergestellte Schutzmittel erreichen den beabsichtigten Zwecke

   Gemäss der Erfindung wird der eingangs genannte Zweck in vollkommener    Weise 4   dadurch erreicht, dass in der Schleifmittelindustrie bekannte Stoffe, wie Aluminiumoxyd (Al2O3) Siliziumkarbid (SiC) und dgl. in gebundener Form und in Gestalt von Zapfen, Scheiben oder sonstigen Körpern in dem Absatz bzw. in der Sohle eingesetzt ; werden. Die meisten dieser Stoffe stehen, was Härte anbetrifft, einzig dem   Diamanten nach.   



  Im Handel sind beispielsweise einige dieser Stoffe unter dem Namen Alun-Krystolon,   Elektrit   und   Karborundum   bekannt. 



   Die aus den genannten Stoffen hergestellten Zapfen werden in entsprechende Aussparungen oder Hohlräume der Sohle bzw. des   Absatzaufsseckes   eingelassen und   durch ;      Einkitten   gesichert.
