The invention relates to a hand-held tongs which are used for moving e.g.
Pulling of pieces of wood, logs, etc. Like. Is used.
The known hand-held pliers have two articulated claws, a handle, the special design of the joint between the claws when the handle pulls the tips of the claws against the piece of wood to be moved.
A disadvantage of the known hand-held pliers is that the handle is aligned in the plane in which the claws can be pivoted relative to one another. This often has an unnatural attitude, e.g. resulting in a twisted arm of the user of the hand pack tongs.
The invention is based on the object of improving the known hand-held tongs with regard to their manageability without disadvantages to the usability of the same.
This task is solved with hand-held pliers which have the features of claim 1.
Preferred and advantageous embodiments of the hand-held pliers according to the invention are the subject of the dependent claims.
The fact that with the hand-held pliers according to the invention the handle is oriented at an angle to the plane in which the claws of the hand-held pliers can be pivoted, results in an ergonomically more favorable position of the hand when using the hand-held pliers and an improved usability of the hand-held pliers.
Further details, features and advantages of the inventive
Handpack pliers result from the following description of a preferred embodiment of the invention with reference to the drawings.
1 shows an oblique view of a hand-held tongs, FIG. 2 shows the hand-held tongs in the position of use.
1 and 2 consists of two claws 2 and 3, which have tips 4 and 5 at their curved ends. The claws 2 and 3 are pivotally connected to one another about an axis 6.
A handle 10 is connected to the claws 2, 3 via a parallelogram connection 8 to be described, which has a connection point 11 and a grip piece 12. The connecting part 11 is connected to the handle-side end of the claw 2 via a joint 15. The pliers-side end of the connecting part 11 of the handle 10 is connected via a joint 16 to two coupling tabs 17, which are connected at their other ends via an axis 18 to the handle-side end of the claw 3.
The result is the parallelogram-like connection 8 with the axes 6, 15, 16, 18, which is formed by the end of the claw 2, the end of the claw 3, the end of the connecting part 11 of the handle 10 and the coupling tabs 17. H @ n-

It must also be assigned that the parts of the pliers can preferably be designed as flat irons in the area of the parallelogram 8.
A hand guard 30 can also be arranged on the claw 2, which protects the hand when the pliers 1 are used to pull wood with the claw 3 hooked into the wood.
As can be seen from FIG. 1, the handle 12 of the handle 10 is oriented such that it is substantially perpendicular to the plane in which the claws 2 and 3 lie and in which they can be pivoted, as shown in FIG. 2 is. The handle 12 is made of soft material (e.g. plastic or rubber). But it can also be a handle 12 made of wood.
The handpack pliers 1 according to the invention are gripped in use on the handle 12 and pushed over a tree trunk 20, the tree trunk 20 pushing apart the claws 2 and 3 of the handpack pliers 1 by a movement relative to the handpack pliers 1 in the direction of arrow 21 in FIG. 2.
As soon as the handle 12 is pulled, the claws 2 and 3 attach to the tree trunk 20 thanks to the parallelogram connection 8 and the tips 4 and 5 of the claws 2 and 3 penetrate into the circumference of the tree trunk 20, so that the tree trunk 20 (or another piece of wood) can be pulled by pulling the handle 12, for example in the direction of arrow 25, over a floor 24.
There is also the possibility of using two or more hand-held tongs 1 to lift and carry the tree trunk 20.
Since the handle 10 of the hand pack pliers 1, in particular its handle 12, is oriented transversely to the pivoting plane of the claws 2 and 3, the user of the hand pack pliers 1 has an ergonomically favorable hand position when using the hand pack pliers 1.
In summary, an embodiment of the invention can be represented as follows:
Hand-held pliers 1 have two claws 2 and 3 and a handle 10, the handle 12 of which is oriented perpendicular to the plane of the claws 2 and 3. The fact that the handle 12 of the handle 10 is oriented perpendicularly to the plane in which the claws 2 and 3 can be pivoted results in an ergonomically favorable hand position when using the hand-held pliers 1 to move logs 20.
