EMI1.1
For special purposes of the electric drive, e.g. B. when driving flyers in spinning mills, it is necessary that the drive motors develop a gentle starting torque.
This knowledge has given rise to the new task of extending AC induction motors with a gentle starting torque in precise adaptation to the special conditions of the working machines to be driven, without the efficiency and cos up of the same practically deteriorating compared to normal motors.
The invention solves this problem in that, in a manner known per se, by deeply embedding the effective conductors in the anchor body, the scatter can be increased so that the starting torque is reduced, but at the same time by arranging holes or slots between the anchor circumference and the effective ones Ladders keep the spread within certain limits, so that the requirements of such special machines are met with regard to starting, but the efficiency and cos <p of the motor are practically no worse than those of motors of normal design.
Several embodiments of the short-circuit armature are shown in the figures.
Fig. 1 shows an anchor with elongated holes, on the bottom of which the conductors, which are united at their ends by two rings to form a cage anchor, lie. The free space of the holes or slots can be filled with magnetically or electrically inactive material in order to fix the effective conductors. The spread of the armature can be selected through the position of the effective conductors in the grooves.
One can also, as shown in Fig. 2, arrange a double row of holes and accommodate the effective conductor in the hole remote from the circumference. The scatter can be brought to the desired level by means of slots between the two holes that can be selected in their width. Fig. 3 shows a hole for the conductor, which is connected to the circumference of a slot that can be selected in terms of length and width. In Fig. 4 it is shown that you can lead the slot from the circumference to any vicinity of the groove for the conductor.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1.Short-circuit armature for alternating current induction motors, in which the effective conductors are arranged at a great distance from the armature circumference and the space between the conductors and the armature circumference had holes or slots of selectable size, characterized in that these holes or slots are free of magnetically or electrically active material stay.
