  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Glasringes. 



   Nach einem bekannten Verfahren zum Herstellen von Glasringen aus Glasröhren werden in die Glasröhre mittels eines Diamanten so viele Schnitte gemacht, als Ringe aus der Röhre hergestellt werden sollen. Zum Absprengen der Ringe wird sodann die Röhre an ihrem unteren Ende zonenweise durch wiederholtes senkrechtes Aufsetzen auf eine warme Ofenplatte erwärmt, wobei je nur der unterste oder die beiden untersten Ringe abgesprengt werden. 



   Nach vorliegender Erfindung erfolgt das Absprengen dadurch, dass die   vorgeschnittene     Glasröhre zur Gänze einer höheren Temperatur ausgesetzt wird, wodurch die Röhre in die einzelnen Ringe zerfällt. Der technische Effekt dieses neuen Verfahrens besteht also darin.   dass eine grosse Zahl von Ringen gleichzeitig abgesprengt wird, was nach dem bisherigen Verfahren nicht   möglich   war. 



   Wird die Glasröhre innen vorgeschnitten, so wird sie entweder nur an der Aussenfläche oder an ihrer   Aussen- und Innenfläche   plötzlich einer höheren Temperatur) ausgesetzt, wodurch   Spannnngaverschiedonheiten   im Glase entstehen, welche veranlassen, dass die durch Vorschneiden in der Röhre gebildeten Risse sich vertiefen und die Röhre fast   plötzlich   in lauter Ringe zerfällt. 



   Das Erhitzen der Aussenfläche der Glasröhre kann mittels einer Flamme, das Erhitzen der Röhre an ihren beiden Flächen (aussen und innen) durch Einbringen in einen Trommelofen mit stark erwärmtem Innenraum bewirkt werden. Wird dagegen die Glasröhre an der Aussenfläche vorgeschnitten. dann wird sie nur an ihrer Innenseite der Einwirkung einer höheren Temperatur oder einer Flamme ausgesetzt, um das Zerfallen der   Röhre'in   Ringe herbeizuführen.

1. Verfahren zur Herstellung von Glasringen aus Glasröhren, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die an ihrer Innenfläche vorgeschnittene Glasröhre an der Aussenfläche zur Gänze oder an der   Aussen- und Innenfläche zur   Gänze rasch einer höheren Temperatur ausgesetzt wird, wodurch die Röhre zufolge der im Glas entstehenden Spannungsdifferenz in Ringe zerfällt.
