Form main suspension and altitude tax; the side sheets, on the other hand, are often placed opposite one another with their corners, so that they then have a side or Form aileron.

Each position of a blade has a different effect on the flying machine, depending on its position in relation to the direction of flight. The driver must therefore order the correct interaction of all wings through his levers. Finally, the parachute effect is brought about by pulling all wing blades against the framework (Fig. 3), the flying machine cannot fall steeply or roll over, but has to float down slowly, pendulous.

PATENT CLAIMS: l. Airplane wing convertible into a parachute, consisting of triangular blades hinged at their tips on a common axis, characterized in that the outer sides of each blade are adjustable in height independently of those of the other blades.

Claims (1)

2. Apparatus according to claim 1, characterized by the arrangement of a pyramid-shaped framework which is used to stiffen the parachute and to which the blades of the wing lay like a tent roof when it is converted into a parachute.
