Rektilizierapparat.

Rectilator.
Rectifying apparatuses are already known in which the vapor of the liquid mixture to be rectified passes directly one after the other through an outer column and an inner column built into it from bottom to top. When the liquid mixture passes through these known rectifying devices, only a single distillation takes place, so that the end product obtained is not particularly pure.
In addition, in these known apparatuses a special amount of heat supplied from the outside is consumed in the second column to complete the distillation process. The aim of the invention is now to achieve a much purer end product with a single passage of the mixture to be rectified through the apparatus and to save heat. This is achieved in that the vapor emerging from the outer column is completely condensed in a cooler and the condensate is brought to the boil again in the inner column. The mixture to be rectified for the second time passes in a liquid state from top to bottom through the inner column and takes the heat necessary for its evaporation from the surrounding outer column.
Three exemplary embodiments of the invention are illustrated in the drawing. Fig. 1 shows schematically an apparatus from Mesei @ in partial section, Fig. 2 and 3 two further embodiments made of glass. In the exemplary embodiment according to FIG. 1, the vapor L, l of the mixture to be rectified passes from a still into the rectification space r1 of the outer column. This rectification room is provided with floors of any construction. From the room rl the steam then enters the condenser kl, where the first distillate is formed.
This passes through the pipe du into the second inner rectinization column t, which is provided with trays or the like similar to that of the column r, and flows here in the direction from top to bottom. The inner column r is for the most part built into the first column r1. The condensate passing from the pipe lf1 into the inner column r2 is heated by the heat of the outer column r1, so that a second distillation takes place. In the process, even richer vapors develop in more volatile components.
These rise up in the second column r, are continuously flushed by the condensate ripping down from the pipe d1, rectify and get into the second condenser dz in the same way into a second, similarly built apparatus. At last it could also be transferred to a third column. which is built into this like the second.
The liquid residue remaining in the columns r1 and r2 in the illustrated embodiment is either returned to the bladder or otherwise diverted.
The embodiments according to FIGS. 2 and 3 are made from and intended for use as laboratory apparatus. In the embodiment according to FIG. 2 there is a filling of glass beads in the columns r1 and r2. Wire pieces or the like. This filling is replaced in the embodiment of FIG. 3 by the spherical design of the inner column; In the arrangement according to FIG. 2, the vapors emerging from the piston (not shown) rise through the outer column r1 and from here through the side pipe VI into the

be directed. Here the process is the same as in the embodiment according to FIG. 1.
The glass bead or the like. Filling is held in the space rl by a helically bent glass rod at the lower end of the space 7.
In the embodiment according to tig. 3 is the distillation of the vapors through the spherical
