  Verfahren zur   Herstellung allseitig geschlossener Hohleteine.   



   Es ist bekannt, Hohlsteine aus Hohlsteinformlingen so herzustellen, dass von den Lochwandungen der mit durchlaufenden Kanälen versehenen Formlinge an den Mündungen Teile zurückgedrängt werden, die ein Auflager für Pappscheiben bilden, welche den Lochkanal abschliessen sollen. Hiebei fallen die Pappscheiben, welche nachträglich eingebracht werden, bei ungenügender Befestigung heraus. Dieser Übelstand wird nach dem neuen Verfahren dadurch vermieden, dass der Locbkanal durch die Tonmasse des Formlings selbst abgeschlossen wird, indem von den Innenwandungen der Lochkanäle im frischen Zustande des Hohlsteinformlings, an den Mündungen beginnend, lappenförmige Teile so weit und so gross abgespalten werden, dass sie selbst durch entsprechendes Umbiegen einen Verschluss der   Lochkanäle   bilden. 



   Durch das Ab-und Umbiegen der lappenförmigen Teile entstehen an den Wandungen, von denen sie abgespalten wurden, Aussparungen (Zwickel), in die bei der Ausführung   von Bauteilen (Decken und dgl. ) das Bindemittel eindringen kann, wodurch eine ausser-   ordentliche gute Verzahnung der einzelnen Bestandteile des Baukörpers herbeigeführt wird. 



   Ein weiterer wesentlicher Vorteil dieses   Verschlussverfahrens   besteht darin, dass an den Berührungsgrenzen der Verschlusslappen mit den Lochwandungen im Verlaufe des Trocknens durch das Schwinden des   Formwassers   schmale Ritzen entstehen, welche das Trocknen der Formlinge sehr fördern und als hinreichend grosse   Schmauchöffnungen   der   Heissluft   im Brennofen ungehinderten Zutritt in das Innere der   Hohlräume   gestatten,

   Die Herstellung eines Hohlsteines nach dem neuen Verfahren ist folgende : Nachdem der Tonstrang das Pressmundstück verlassen hat, wird der Hohisteinstrang in der üblichen Weise in einzelne Formlinge geteilt.
