   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Metalldichtung mit durchbrochenen Flächen, wie an sich bekannt, die sich aber von den bisher üblichen   Ausführungsformen   dadurch unter-   scheidet.   dass sie aus einem ebenflächigen siebartig gelochten Blech besteht, dessen Löcher gegebenenfalls mit Kittmasse oder dgl. ausgefüllt werden, wie dies an sich bei Kittdichtungen mit einem Kern aus Drahtgaze bekannt ist. Zum Unterschied von diesen bekannten   Dichtungen     kommt   es bei der Erfindung darauf an, dass die Kittmasse oder dgl. keinesfalls die   eigentlich     dichtende Flache abgibt,   vielmehr dazu bestimmt ist, etwaige kleine Hohlräume zwischen den dichtenden und den   abzudichtenden   Flächen auszufüllen.

   Die   Kittmasae   hat somit   gemäss     der Erfindung nur   einen Nebenzweck und die eigentliche Abdichtung wird durch das gelochte    Blech bewirkt. Während   also bei den bekannten Dichtungen das Drahtgewebe oder dgl. nichts weiter ist als der Träger oder Kern der eigentlichen Dichtungsmasse, tntt bei der Erfindung die Kittmasse oder dgl.   gänzlich   in den Hintergrund. indem die Dichtung einzig und allein durch die   Blechflä (chen   besorgt wird. Die Kittmasse füllt   gemäss   der Erfindung nur die Löcher aus, lässt aber die   Blechflächen als   solche ungedeckt. 



   Für die Erfindung ist von wesentlicher Bedeutung, dass das Blech nach Entfernung der die Locher ausfüllenden Kittmasse mittels einer Drahtbürste oder dgl. beliebig oft weiter
