Federndes Rad.

Springy wheel.
The invention relates to elastic wheels, which consists of a box enclosing a compressed air chamber and forming the actual rolling wheel, in which the hub is suspended by elastic means. The novelty of the invention consists in the fact that the flexible straps delimiting the air chamber of the outer wheel housing, which at the same time carry the middle part of the wheel and are attached to the outer wheel part, rest on solid, lateral support walls. As a result of the design of these support walls, which are also attached to the outer wheel part, the mounting straps can move away from them in one direction and thus allow eccentric movements of the inner wheel.
With these eccentric movements, which are caused by loading, impacts or the like. The bands in the lower part of the wheel can freely follow these movements while they are held in the upper part of the wheel.
The invention is shown in the drawing in an exemplary embodiment.
The inner, disc-forming wheel part 2 is attached to the axle 1 and has a groove 3 on its circumference for receiving the middle tab of a flexible support tape 4, the outer ends 5 of which with the side flanges 6 of the solid, air chamber-forming housing 6.7 are connected, which is equipped with a race 8 on the outer circumference. The surrounding flexible support tape 4 consists of one piece and forms two pockets 9, the. inward, d. H. to lie after the wheel axle. Also firmly connected to the housing 6, 7 are two vertical disks 11, which are provided with flanges 12 by means of which the side tabs 5 of the carrier tape are held in place.
The fixed support walls 10 are formed on the disks 11. which have a trough-shaped cross-section, so that they form grooves for receiving the pockets 9 of the carrier tape 4. The support walls 10 end at a certain distance from the inner wheel part 2 and thereby allow the outer and inner wheels to move within certain (separations from one another axially, so that the inner rudder part not only perform vertical movements, but can also be set at an angle to the outer wheel part 7, which forms a different air chamber.
The side panels are connected to one another by screw bolts 13.
These penetrate the lugs 14 of the inner wheel part 2 with sufficient play so that they do not hinder the adjustment of the two wheel parts with respect to one another. In order to dampen any contact that occurs in the process, rubber washers 15 sit on the bolts 13.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Spring-loaded wheel, characterized in that the flexible support belt (4) closing the air chamber with its pockets (9) rests on solid support walls (10) which are attached to the outer wheel housing (6, 7) and are designed in such a way that they are on the allow lifting of the tape from the support walls on one side, but prevent this on the opposite side.
