Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine aus Draht verfertigte, zum Stützen und Aufbinden von Pflanzen dienende Pflanzenstütze und besteht dieselbe ans einem nach einer Schraube gewundenen Draht, dessen oberes Ende auf einem die Achse der Schraubenwindungen bildenden Stab entweder fest, verschiebbar oder abnehmbar angeordnet ist.
Die Fig. 1 und 2 bzw. 3,4 und 5 der Zeichnung zeigen in Ansicht drei Ausführungsformen des Erfindungsgegeastandes.
Der Stab A, der aus einfachem, aus doppelt zusammengedrehtem Draht oder auch aus Holz sein kann, ist verschieden gestattet, je nachdem auf demselben das obere Ende des aus Schrauben windungen bl bestehenden Drahtes B fest verbunden (Fig. 1), auf demselben verschiebbar (Fig. 2) oder abnehmbar bzw. ausziehbar angeordnet ist (Fig. 3, 4, 5).
Der Draht B besteht aus engen Windungen b und aus den nach unten sich erweiternden Schraubenwindungen b1 mit dem frei abstehenden Schraubenende b2-
Wie schon früher erwähnt, ist der Draht B mit den sein oberes Ende bildenden Windungen b mit dem die Achse der Windungen B bildenden Stab A unterhalb des Griffes a entweder fest verbunden (Fig. 1), oder durch die den zweiteiligen Stab A umgebenden. gleichzeitig als Drahtverspreizungen dienenden Windungen b am Stab A verschiebbar angeordnet (Fig. 2), oder es sind die Schraubenwindungen b, die aus demselben Drahtstücke bestehen, aus welchem die Schraubenwindungen B hergestellt sind, zu einer Hülse C ausgebildet, an welcher Handhaben Cl vorgesehen sind ; durch die Hülse ('kann der Stab A eingeführt werden.

Die Pflanzenstütze dient zum Auf-und Zusammenbinden von Topfpflanzen und solchen Pflanzen, die im Freien stehen.
Die Handhabung der Pflanzenstütze geschieht derart, dass der Stab A bei dem Griffe a gefasst und mit der Spitze neben der aufzuwindenden Pflanze in die Erde gesenkt wird. Durch einfaches Drehen der Pflanzenstütze werden die Blätter, Blüten-und Fruchtstengel von dem schraubenförmig gewundenen Draht B erfasst und wie mit einer Winde immer höher in die Windungen hinaufgedreht.
Da z. B. bei der Erdbeere die Blüten-und Fruchtstengel von verschiedener Höhe sind, jedoch zumeist höher stehen als die Blätter, so werden bei Verwendung des Er- findungsgegenstandes die Blüten und später auch die Früchte in den oberen Windungen des Drahtes B terassenförmig über- und nebeneinander zu liegen kommen, wo dieselben vor Schmutz und Ungeziefer geschützt und den Sonnenstrahlen zugänglich sind.
Es ist wohl selbstverständlich, dass die Windungen des Drahtes B durch Zusammendrücken und Ausziehen der Höhen-und Breitenentwicklung jeder Pflanze angepasst werden können.
Die Pflanzenstütze in der Form nach Fig. 1 und 2 wird Verwendung finden zum Aufbinden von Pflanzen. Durch einfaches einsenken des Stabes A neben der Pflanze und durch Drehen des Drahtes B wird die Pflanze an den Stab A herangezogen und aufgebunden.
Die Pflanzenstütze mit ausziehbarem Stab naph Fig. 5 dient hauptsächlich zum Zusammendrehen und Zusammenbinden von Pflanzen, wobei nach Bedarf der Draht B an dur pflanze liegen gelassen wird, der Stab A jedoch durch einfaches Zurückdrehen entfernt und wieder weiterverwendet werden kann.
