 EMI2.1
is shown in the direction C-D. It consists of a clarification basin covered with filter bodies, into which the contaminated waste water enters a pre-section provided with storage devices at a, which holds back most of the specifically heavier fibers and lime compounds that are washed away. From here the waters in question pass through the through openings b, c, d into compartments separated from one another by removable partitions Z1 and Z2 and flow out at the overflow g.

Given the fact that the remaining fibers are deposited at these points, is there a valve or a change under the floor covered with filter bodies p? attached, by opening the basin is emptied, and a recovery of the remaining amounts of fiber can take place. By removing the partition walls Z, they can easily be brought out. The utilization of the heat inherent in the waste water takes place through a heating line made of hollow bodies, which is installed in the basin and filled with high pressure water. The latter enters the line in the cold state through the change v and leaves the same in the heated state at u. The heating therefore takes place according to the countercurrent principle.

Since the water in the hollow bodies is under higher pressure than the waste water in the basin, the latter cannot penetrate the pure warm water. With the help of the change v, which can just as well be attached to u, both the amount of hot water that is discharged and its temperature can be regulated. It is also essential that the excretion of the poorly thermally conductive fibers and lime compounds does not impair the heat transfer of the radiators.

   PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Process for utilizing the heat lost with the wastewater during sulphite cellulose production by transferring it to liquids to be heated, characterized in that this heat is transferred to pure, pressurized water according to the countercurrent principle, which in turn is used to preheat Bisulfite solution and for filling
Bleaching Dutch is used.
