Schweifbereich - jedoch keinesfalls in Bauchmitte - vorgesehen.
The invention relates to a device for training for improved posture of a horse by stimulation of muscle groups in the abdominal area against sagging of the spine, with pressure elements on a support which can be fastened by a holder with at least one belt below the abdominal region.
From DE 42 93 122 Tl a device for the treatment of spinal discomfort of a horse is known. The backbone, namely the spine, is an important factor that affects the well-being and thus the performance of the horse. It was therefore to remedy a device for stimulating the areas along the spine with pressure elements created and fixed by a holding device on the body so that the pressure element comes into contact with the critical body of the body and a
Pressure of adjustable size - also adjustable - exercises. This can affect nerve cords and neutralize tensions. There may be effects according to acupuncture and shiatsu. DE 10 2004 056 906 AI relates to an electrotherapy device for use on horses. Belts are attached circularly to the body of the horse and electrodes are applied to the back and abdomen. Corresponding stimulation currents can stimulate the muscle groups in the back area. DE 20 2007 016 711 Ul deals in great detail with the treatment of a mount. Based on the first-mentioned prior art, a device for generating alternating pressure in the form of a roller with an eccentric drive in the interior is proposed as a pressure element. Once desired, this type of abdominal stimulation can be turned on to strengthen the back muscles.
The invention aims to produce a learning effect in the horse and to initiate the stimulation by itself when the horse wants to sag his stomach. This is achieved with a device of the type described in the introduction in that the carrier partially surrounds the abdominal region and on both sides, preferably symmetrically about the ribs of the horse approximately opposite, the pressure elements, that the holder for attachment to the neck side and / or tail end of the horse back is provided in the longitudinal direction outside the dorsal curvature and that the vertical distance of the wearer is adjustable to the stomach with stretched spine on the bracket. The wearer therefore hangs neutrally just below the abdomen when the horse tenses the abdominal and back muscles and the spine is in an extended position.
Since the carrier attached to the pressure elements outside the middle of the spine on the horse, so to speak, is suspended, the carrier remains stationary, even if the horse can hang his stomach and the spine bends downwards in the middle. But then the hanging belly is on the wearer and the pressure elements are fully effective. The horse quickly absorbs the stomach, that is, it tenses the abdominal and back muscles. Furthermore, there is a dynamic effect in connection with the movement of the horse, in particular by the relative movement between the pressure elements and the abdominal wall or the body of the horse. It enters a stimulation until the said muscles react. The effect leads to an optimization of the posture, which has a health-promoting effect.
It is crucial that the device does not have to be switched on or activated by humans, but that it always acts automatically whenever it is necessary. This is associated with a learning effect, which leads to the fact that the muscle tightening with time directly from the sagging of the spine and thus without external stimulation by a
Pressure element is triggered. This is because in the learning phase each time - and not arbitrarily triggered by humans - the stimulation goes hand in hand with the relaxation of the musculature and leads to a firming of the muscles. It is expedient if, at a longitudinal end, the carrier has at least one articulated connection to the breast-side region of the belt, e.g. a Lunginggurtes and at the other end on both sides and next to the pressure elements each a length-adjustable connection with the shoulder-side region of the belt or with attachment points on another
Belt or a bracket on the tail end of the horse back has. The aim is to keep the support of the pressure elements with respect to the shoulder and the pelvic area of the horse under the abdomen constant, so that the otherwise free carrier with sagging stomach does not go along with this down, but on the contrary comes as a contact surface effect. For this purpose, the suspension of the wearer on the thoracic belt and possibly in the pelvic or tail area - but not in the middle of the abdomen - provided. Either the carrier protrudes from the bottom of the belt in the direction of the hindquarters and is held by oblique connections between its free ends and the belt - or there is a second support in the area of the tail or tail end of the spine, for. provided by a lap belt or the like.
If at least some chain links are provided as massaging elements as the connection between the carrier and the strap from the carrier next to the pressure elements, then these additionally have a stimulating effect on the flanks. A particular embodiment of the invention is characterized in that the carrier as a horseshoe-shaped or V-shaped plate with the pressure elements on the flat sides of the legs and perpendicular to these surfaces, as well as with an attached in the symmetry line of the horseshoe or the V-shape, the legs opposing tab is trained. Thus, it is not necessary for the entire abdominal area to be covered without contact by a slightly channel-shaped elongate carrier, but only the statically or dynamically important zones that carry the connecting pieces to the strap or the straps and the pressure elements are realized.
In this sense, at the front ends of the legs and on the tab are each connecting pieces such. Bracket to the bracket provided to a chain or the same belt. Since the wearer has to distance himself from the horse's body due to gravity in his ideal posture and thus has to be ineffective, he should be made massive. An embodiment is characterized in that the carrier is integrally formed of metal and optionally embedded in a plastic sheath and that the pressure elements are designed as threaded bolts in threaded holes in the carrier axially adjustable. An inventive device is once adapted to a horse and can be maintained.
It is important and necessary to control that the rounded end faces of the threaded bolts do not rest on the belly during the ideal posture of the horse, but are fully effective when the belly is sagging. An amplification of the stimulation can be achieved in that the pressure elements are designed as cap screws with an electric vibrator in a central axial bore of the head screws and that a pressure contact is provided, which presses the vibrator when pressed against the front side or contact surface of the bolt by the adjacent Belly of the horse turns on. The additional switching on the electrical stimulation is thus automatically and automatically when the printing elements come into effect anyway.
An embodiment of the subject invention is shown in the drawings.
1 shows the device according to the invention on a horse, FIG. 2 shows the device without a holder in plan view, FIG. 3 shows a view from the front side and FIG. 4 shows a pressure element in a particular embodiment. A horse 1 is shown in Fig. 1 with full lines in an ideal posture and with dashed lines with sagging abdomen and curved spine. When the abdominal and back muscles become slack, the state shown by dashed lines adjusts. It is then diseases in the spine area and nervous disorders the next episode. Therefore, it is important to train the ideal posture. The device according to the invention is always effective when the horse is about to sag the abdomen. The
The device comprises a belt 2, which is fastened like a lunging belt on the body of the horse 1 in front of the area of the dashed spine lowering. At the bottom of the belt 2, in the abdominal region, a carrier 3 is articulated as a rigid body in the form of a plate (for example made of sheet steel with a wall thickness of 1 cm). For this purpose, the belt 2 has a ring with carabiner 4, which engages in a bracket 5 on the carrier 3. The carrier 3 itself in this embodiment has the form of a horseshoe (Fig. 2) with the legs 6, 7, which are slightly bent at the outer edges (Fig. 3), so that there is a gutter, which modeled on the abdomen of a horse is. In the middle and the free ends of the legs 6, 7 opposite, a tab 8 is formed, which carries the bracket 5 at its end.
At the aforementioned free ends of the legs 6, 7 are also fittings, here as a bracket 9, 10 are provided. In order to position the carrier 3 approximately horizontally under the abdomen and independently of a possible sagging of the abdomen, longitudinally adjustable connections 11 (FIG. 1) are suspended in the brackets 9, 10, which are connected to the strap 2 and to the shoulder-side and back-side, respectively Lead the area of the belt 2. This results geometrically considered an approximately right triangle with the belt 2 as an anchor for the approximately right angle cantilevered carrier 3, which is held stationary by the connection 11 as a hypotenuse of the triangle.
In the flat sides of the legs 6, 7 of the carrier 3, threaded holes for threaded bolts of cap screws (e.g., M 12) are provided. These are used as printing elements 12. The carrier 3 is set with optimal attitude of the horse 1 by means of the longitudinally adjustable connection 11 so that there is a gap (B. 3 cm) to the stomach of the horse. The pressure elements 12 protrude beyond the inner flat side of the support 3, wherein the rounded end faces of the threaded bolt protrude just below the belly - so. are screwed in so far that they protrude about 1.5 to 2 cm above the inner flat sides of the legs 6, 7 of the carrier 3.
Only when the horse 1 can hang his stomach (dashed line in Fig. 1) come the pressure elements 12 to the effect, since the belly lays in the curvature of the support 3. As a reflex to the pressure of the pressure elements 12, the horse 1 tenses all muscle parts in the abdominal and back area. This leads immediately to a buckle attitude upwards and subsequently to a straight ideal attitude.
The longitudinally adjustable connection 11, which leads to both sides of the body of one of the legs 6, 7 upwards to the belt 2, can be realized by a leather strap 13 and possibly a piece of a chain 14, which also has a hanging belly with stimulating effect on the Flanks of the horse 1 lays. It should also be mentioned that the connection 11 'can also be guided in the direction of the tail side on the tail and fixed there to another strap 15. This results in the holder of the carrier 3 from a geometrical point of view, a trapezoid. In Fig. 4, a pressure element 12 is shown as a cap screw in the interior of a battery 16 and an electric vibrator 17 (rotary oscillator, Prezoschwinger, breaker with solenoid and vibration core. The like.) Is provided. The front side of the vibrator 17 is formed as a contact surface 18.
As soon as a pressure is exerted by the hanging belly on the contact surface 18, a spring 19 is compressed by pushing back the vibrator 17 and closed the circuit to vibrator 17. In this way, the stimulation effect can be enhanced.
