Weitere Vorteile der erfindungsgemässen Zement/Kunststoffsysteme sind: eine durch den Querschnitt gleichmässige Durchhärtung und Elastizität der ausgehärteten Schichten, unabhängig von der Dicke der aufgebrachten Schichten; eine gute Durchtrocknung auch in dickeren Schichtdicken;

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
Combinations of polymers with hydraulically setting systems have long been known.
Thus, combinations of hydraulic binders with non-crosslinking polymers, i.a. in patent specification AT 359 904, and those with crosslinking polymers in utility model AT 005 279 (BCD GmbH). These systems are used, for example, in applications such as sealing slurries for refurbishment of concrete as well as for sealing of earth-contacting components, drinking water tanks, swimming pools, existing buildings and inner sealing of wet rooms as well as for horizontal insulation.
In these systems, among other things, the polymer component influences such properties as flexibility, aging resistance, water resistance, water impermeability, elongation and flexural strength.
On the other hand, the hydraulically setting component can improve properties such as tensile strength, corrosion resistance, water resistance, abrasion resistance and water vapor diffusion.
In some applications of Ze / plastic combinations, however, the drying (through hardening) is unsatisfactory:
Thus, cement / plastic combinations with low cement content, which are produced according to utility model AT 005 279 (BCD GmbH), although very aging-resistant formulations for use in the field of concrete restoration and waterproofing, which largely retain their elasticity even with permanent water pollution.
However, use in systems in application specific layer thicknesses is difficult to achieve where rapid loading, e.g. a walkability after a maximum of 24 hours, is required, cf. For this purpose, the following inventive embodiments and the comparative examples. An increase in the cement content would be '[phi] <[phi]> [phi] <phi]> [phi] phi] phi] phi phi] phi drying Although accelerate, but in the utility model AT 005 279 (BCD GmbH) cited good aging resistance would be lost.
Even in systems that allow a higher cement content according to the application, drying is unsatisfactory in some applications.
Rapid drying, meaning rapid build-up of sufficient strength, is required when rapid loadability is required, for example early driveability in systems for making a road marking or plastic for marking transitions on pavement or pavement surfaces, or early documen- tation for waterproofing under ceramic coverings.
Other examples include aqueous tunnel coatings, which are difficult to dry due to the high humidity and low temperatures found in tunnels, and coatings on pipes that must be laid shortly after the coating has taken place, such as pipelines or sewers.
By zeolite is meant a crystalline substance whose structure is characterized by a crystal lattice of interconnected tetrahedra, each consisting of one cation and four oxygen atoms. This crystal lattice contains open cavities in the form of cages and channels. These are usually occupied by water molecules and additional cations. The channels are large enough to allow guest molecules to pass through, as defined by the International Mineralogical Association (IMA) Subcommittee on Zeolites of 1998.
Particularly suitable in the context of the present invention is a natural zeolite (clinoptilolite) based on a hydrated alkali-alkaline-earth aluminosilicate in a tectosilicate structure.
It has now been found that cement / plastic systems by the addition of zeolite, preferably in Erdalkaliform and / or alkaline-alkaline earth mixed series, with respect to the drying substantially better behavior, that is, allow significantly shorter drying times. The zeolite should act as a latent drying accelerator and the surface of the zeolite should first be coated by a polymer layer of the dispersion. This prevents premature saturation of the zeolite with water.
Further absorption of water takes place thereafter, however, by diffusion of the water through the polymer skin.
Dehydration, caused by the absorption of water by the zeolite, accelerates through-cure, primarily by increasing the speed of filming of the polymer, rather than accelerating hydration of the inorganic binder.
Further advantages of the cement / plastic systems according to the invention are: uniform hardening and elasticity of the hardened layers, regardless of the thickness of the applied layers; a good through-drying even in thicker layer thicknesses;
a favorable influence on the processability by a generated intrinsic viscosity, that is, a smooth application is possible with high stability.
The above advantages, in addition to the already mentioned applications, together allow the use of the systems according to the invention as jointing mortar and grout.
A further advantage of the systems according to the invention opens up the option of formulating rapidly drying systems with a higher water content, whereby the proportion of aqueous dispersions and thus the proportion of polymer can be increased.
The following examples are intended to illustrate the invention without, however, limiting it.
Example 1: Preparation of an aging-resistant coating with a rapid structure of strength based on cement / plastic / zeolite combination with a content of 10% by weight of zeolite in the powder component
Powder component:

116.1g quartz sand F34 (0, l-0.3 [mu] m)
Liquid component:
80.0 g of styrene acrylate dispersion Vinagen LAS 4057 D (BCD GmbH)
The liquid component was charged and with vigorous stirring, the powder component was continuously introduced. Thereafter, stirring was continued for 2 minutes. The pasty, perfectly processable composition was applied to a polyethylene film and stripped to a wet film thickness of 2.5 mm.
After the respective storage period, the test specimens were punched out, the polyethylene film was peeled off and the samples were tested in a tensile test. Furthermore, the moisture content was determined with a wood and building moisture indicator.
The results are summarized in Tables 1 and 2.
