Die Methode, grössere und leistungsstarke Einrichtungen der Energie-, Steuerungs-, Daten- und Telekommunikations-Technik in kleinere, z.B. jeweiligen Funktionsgruppen zugeordnete, in Gehäusen mit standardisierten Dimensionen untergebrachte Einheiten bzw. Untereinheiten zu unterteilen - etwa in Analogie zum Einsatz- von standardisierten Containern in der Transport- und Lagertechnik - und diese Gehäuse übereinander in Traggestellen, Racks od. dgl. zu stapeln, ist schon lange bekannt und üblich.
Im Falle von Störungen bzw. bei Adaptionsarbeiten od. dgl. genügt es, nur eine jeweils betroffene Einheit mit ihrem Gehäuse aus dem Gestell, Rack od. dgl. zu lösen und die nötigen Arbeiten, Einstellungen u. dgl. durchzuführen, wonach das Gehäuse mit seinem Inhalt wieder in das Gestell, Rack od. dgl. eingeschoben bzw. eingebaut werden kann.

   Gleiches gilt für den Fall eines bei einer grösseren Störung notwendigen und im Falle von beabsichtigten Funktionsänderungen der im Gehäuse untergebrachten Komponenten notwendigen bzw. gewünschten Austausches einer solchen Einheit zusammen mit ihrem Gehäuse durch eine neue Einheit mit ihrem Gehäuse.
Es soll, wie beispielsweise bei Server-Einrichtungen von Providern der Fall, in diesem Rahmen einerseits eine wirksame Sicherung der in den Gehäusen untergebrachten Speicher-, Steuer- und Betriebseinrichtungen, wie insbesondere der Server-Laufwerke, gegen Fehlmanipulation, Fehleinstellungen, unbefugte Bedienung od. dgl. gewährleistet sein, und andererseits für den Fall notwendiger oder gewünschter Manipulationen, wie z.B. im Falle des Austausches eines Laufwerks, eines Speichers od.

   dgl., ein entsprechend rascher und unkomplizierter Zugriff zu einer solchen Einheit gesichert sein, um die dabei auftretenden Steh- oder Ausfallzeiten möglichst gering zu halten.
Dementsprechend hat sich die Erfindung die Aufgabe gestellt, eine vor Zugriff durch Unbefugte oder Nicht-Berechtigte und eventuelle sonstige mechanische Einwirkungen schützende Frontabdeckung für die Gehäuse zu schaffen, welche einerseits eine erhöhte Sicherheit für die im Gehäuse enthaltenen Gerätschaften, Laufwerke, Speicher u. dgl. und andererseits eine möglichst einfache Handhabung für den Fall notwendiger Reparatur-, Tausch- und Adaptierungsarbeiten gewährleistet.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist somit eine neuartige Frontabdeckung, Frontblende od. dgl. für einen Einbau- bzw.

   Einschubmodul mit einem, bevorzugterweise beidseitig seitlich wegragende Seitenschürzen mit Manipulationsgriffen aufweisenden, insbesondere für den Einbau in ein Gestell, Rack, od. dgl. vorgesehenen Gehäuse für die Unterbringung mindestens einer Einheit, eines Gerätes, einer Komponente od. dgl. der Energie-, Steuerungs-, Datenverarbeitungs- und Kommunikationstechnik, vorzugsweise für die Unterbringung einer Mehrzahl von Server-Laufwerken od. dgl., welcher Einbaumodul von seiner Frontseite her beschickbar und bedienbar ist.
Die vorliegende Erfindung besteht nun in einer wie soeben genannten neuen Frontabdeckung, welche die im kennzeichnenden Teil des A n s p r u c h e s 1 aufscheinende Kombination von Merkmalen aufweist.
Die neue Frontabdeckung hat den wesentlichen Vorteil, dass sie in Folge ihrer Mehrteiligkeit besonders flexibel für Gehäuse verschiedener Bau-Breite bzw.

   Breite ihrer Vorderfront einsetzbar ist, wobei die beiden erfindungsgemäss vorgesehenen Flankenelemente gleich bleiben können und jeweils nur die Fronthauben jeweils der Breite der Gehäuse entsprechende unterschiedliche Längserstreckung aufweisen müssen.
Vorteilhafterweise sind alle Komponenten der neuen Frontabdeckung durch blosse Umkant- und Stanzarbeiten aus einem Stahlblechmaterial auf einfache Weise und daher kostengünstig herstellbar.
Die neue Frontabdeckung zeichnet sich weiters durch eine ausgesprochen einfaches Vorgehensweise beim Entfernen derselben vom Gehäuse, um Zugang zur (Bedienungs-)Front der jeweiligen, im Gehäuse untergebrachten Einheit zu schaffen, wie auch dadurch aus, dass bei deren Montage keine Seiten-Verwechslung od. dgl.

   erfolgen kann.
Besonders günstig ist es, wenn die Fronthaube und die Flankenelemente alle die gleiche Materialstärke aufweisen, wie dem A n s p r u c h 2 zu entnehmen.
Wenn, wie gemäss A n s p r u c h 3 vorgesehen, die FronthaubenTrageschenkel der Flankenelemente von ihren oberen und seitlichen Rändern jeweils in Richtung von den Manipulationsgriffen auf den Flankenelementen weg ausgerichtete Fronthauben-Anliege- und Passsitz-Randfortsätze aufweisen, ist der Vorteil gegeben, dass beim Aufsetzen der Fronthaube zum Abschliessen und Sichern der Front der im Gehäuse untergebrachten Server-Einheit od. dgl.

   die beiden aufragenden FronthaubenTrageschenkel der beiden Flankenelemente nicht "verfehlt" werden können und auch das Seitverschieben der Fronthaube zur Erreichung des Eingriffs von deren Haltelaschen in den entsprechenden Ausnehmungen der Flankenelemente wesentlich erleichtert ist.
Zur Absicherung der im Gehäuse untergebrachten Einheiten und insbesondere von deren frontalen Betätigungs- und Einschubfelder ist es vorteilhaft, wenn, wie gemäss A n s p r u c h 4 vorgesehen, die Fronthaube mit einem in deren Inneren angeordneten, von aussen mittels Schlüssel betätigbaren Schloss ausgestattet ist, dessen Spenr-Riegel im Ve[pi]iegelungszustand ein Verschieben der Fronthaube in der zur Verschieberichtung bei der Montage umgekehrten Richtung mit Sicherheit verhindert ist. 
Somit haben nur Zutritts- bzw.

   Zugriffsberechtigte Zugang zu den Geräten im Gehäuse bzw. zu deren Bedienungs- und Beschickungsfront, welche über den Schlüssel für das Verriegelungsschloss der Fronthaube verfügen.
Dem A n s p r u c h 5 ist eine vorteilhafte Ausführungs- und Funktionsform des Verriegelungsmechanismus für die Fronthaube zu entnehmen.
Für eine integrierte Montage der neuen Frontabdeckung am Gehäuse ist es, wie gemäss A n s p r u c h 6 vorgesehen, günstig, wenn die Haltegriffe von deren Flankenelementen mittels - deren Montageschenkel von der Rückseite her durchsetzender - Schrauben an denselben befestigbar sind.
Hiebei ist es besonders vorteilhaft, dass, wie im A n s p r u c h 7 geoffenbart, die Montage der Haltegriffe gleichzeitig mit der Befestigung der Flankenelemente der Frontabdeckung an den Seitenschürzen des Geräte-,

   insbesondere Server-Gehäuses erfolgen kann.
Was die Fronthaube selbst und deren Ausgestaltung betrifft, so sind derselben an sich keine Grenzen gesetzt. Günstig ist eine Ausführungsform derselben nach Art eines Rahmens, dessen frontale Öffnung mit einem Schutzgitter, mit einer Sicht-Folie od. dgl. versehen ist, wie dem A n s p r u c h 8 zu entnehmen.
Wie schliesslich aus dem A n s p r u c h 9 hervorgeht, sind auf den Montageschenkeln der Flankenelemente langloch-artige Durchsetzungen vorgesehen, welche eine Befestigung des mit der neuen Frontabdeckung ausgestatteten Gehäuses an einem Trägergestell, Rack od. dgl. ermöglichen.
Anhand der Zeichnung wird die Erfindung näher erläutert:

  
Es zeigen die Fig. 1 nach Art einer Explosions-Darstellung in Schrägansicht die wesentlichen Komponenten der neuen Frontabdeckung gemäss der Erfindung, die Fig. 2 und 3 jeweils in Schrägansicht die beiden Flankeneiemente derselben, die Fig. 4, ebenfalls in Schrägansicht, die Profilhaube der Frontalabdeckung näher, und schliesslich die Fig. 5 in einer Zusammenstellungs-Darstellung ein Server-Laufwerksgehäuse, welches mit der neuen Frontabdeckung ausgestattet ist und in einem Rack untergebracht ist.
Die Fig. 1 zeigt als wesentlichen Bestandteil der neuen Gehäuse-Frontabdeckung 100 ein "rechtes" Flankenelement 3 und ein "linkes" Flankenelement 4, welche Flankenelemente 3, 4 aus einem Stahlblech mit z.B.

   0,5 mm Materialstärke ms gefertigt und durch Umkanten und Stanzen verschiedener Ausnehmungen in die dargestellte winkelige Grundform gebracht ist.
Diese beiden - im Folgenden als "erstes" und als "zweites" Flankenelement bezeichneten - Flankenelemente 3 und 4 bilden sozusagen eine "rechte" und eine "linke" seitliche Abschlusswange für die neue Frontabdeckung 100 bzw. für deren Fronthaube 2.

   
Die Flankenelemente 3, 4 sind im Wesentlichen einander ähnlich gestaltet und sind jeweils mit einem - hier horizontal flachliegend dargestellten - Montageschenkel 31, 41 und einem von demselben im Wesentlichen im rechten Winkel aufragenden FronthaubenTrageschenkel 32, 42 ausgebildet.
Jeder der beiden Montageschenkel 31, 41 weist hier zwei runde Löcher 313, 413 für die Befestigung der bügelartigen Manipulationsgriffe 33, 43 mittels der unterhalb der Flankenelemente 3, 4 schematisch dargestellten Schrauben 331, 431 jeweils von der Unter- bzw.

   Rückseite Rs der Montageschenkel 31 , 41 auf.
Wefters ist jeder der Montageschenkel 31, 41 von zwei Langlöchern 314, 414 durchsetzt, welche für die letztlich zusammen mit dem mit der neuen Frontabdeckung 100 ausgestatteten - hier nicht dargestellten - Gehäuse vorgesehene Befestigung an einem ebenfalls hier nicht gezeigten - Traggestell, Rack od. dgl. vorgesehen sind.
Die beiden senkrecht aufragenden Fronthauben-Trageschenkel 32, 42 weisen jeweils beidseitig seitliche und oberseitig flächige Umkantungen 322, 422 auf, welche jeweils Anliege- bzw.

   Passsitzflächen für die - letztlich nach vollendeter Montage an denselben mit ihren entsprechenden Innenflächenzonen, bevorzugter Weise passsitzend, anliegend anzuordnende Fronthaube 2 bilden.
Die Aussenkontur Ak der Fronthauben-Trageschenkel 32, 42 der beiden Flankenelemente 3 und 4 entspricht jeweils der Innenkontur Ik, welche die Fronthaube 2 zumindest in den Bereichen von deren beiden Schmalseiten 203, 204 aufweist.

   Die Fronthaube 2 ist mit einem flach-rechteckigen C-Profil 20, also [-Profil aus Metall mit einem zwei frei endende Profilschenkel 21 , 22 aufweisenden Querschnitt gebildet, und weist frontseitig eine Art umrahmte Frontöffnung 205 auf, in welche hier von der Innenseite Ip des Fronthauben-Profils 20 her ein Frontgitter 206 od. dgl.

Ganz wesentlich für die Halterung der Fronthaube 2 mittels der beiden Flankenelemente 3 und 4 sind nun die beiden auf der linken Schmalseite 204 derselben von deren Profilschenkeln 21 , 22 quer zur Längsrichtung Lr des Fronthaubenprofils 20 horizontal zum Profilinneren Ip hin wegragenden Quer-Haltelaschen 25' und die beiden auf der rechten Schmalseite 203 der Prof[iota]lhaube2 von deren beiden Profilschenkeln 21 , 22 in Längsrichtung Lrdes Fronthaubenprofils 20 ebenfalls horizontal und seitlich über die Profilhauben-Schmalseite 204 nach aussen hin wegragenden beiden Längs-Haltelaschen 25.

   Für die Befestigung der Fronthaube 2 an bzw. in den beiden Flankenelementen 3, 4, welche ihrerseits schon positionsgerecht an den beiden - hier nicht dargestellten Seitenschürzen eines Server-Gehäuses fixiert sind, wird nun die Fronthaube 2 in eine Ausgangsstellung etwa oberhalb der beiden Flankenelemente 3, 4 gebracht und die beiden Längs-Haltelaschen 25 an der rechten Schmalseite 203 des Fronthauben-Profils *
20 werden in zwei entsprechend positionierte Schlitzöffnungen 325 im unteren Bereich des aufragenden Fronthauben-Trageschenkels 32 des rechts positionierten, ersten Flankenelements 3 "eingefädelt" bzw.

   eingehängt, womit rechtsseitig eine Art vorläufige Fixierung der Fronthaube 2 mit ihrer rechten Schmalseite 203 erreicht ist.
Danach wird die Fronthaube 2 mit ihrer linken Schmalseite 204 zum linken, zweiten Flankenelement 4 hin geschwenkt, bis sie innenseitig auf deren UmkantungsRandfortsatz 422 aufliegt, und dessen beide Querhaltelaschen 25' werden in die beiden, für deren vorläufige Positionierung vorgesehenen Laschen-Aufnahmeausnehmungen 415 im Montageschenkel 41 des zweiten Flankenelements 4 eingelegt.
Es liegt nun die Fronthaube 2 innenseitig auf den Umkantungsflächen der Fronthauben-Anliege-Fortsätze 322, 422 der Fronthauben-Trageschenkel 32, 42 der beiden Flankenelemente 3, 4, bevorzugterweise etwa passsitzend, auf.
Nun kann die Fronthaube 2 in Längsrichtung Lr zum rechts angeordneten, zweiten Flankenelement 3 hin verschoben werden,

   wobei die beiden rechtsseitig in Längsrichtung Lr herausragenden Längs-Haltelaschen 25 in die beiden, im Wesentlichen der Materialstärke ms entsprechende Breite bs aufweisenden, schlitzartigen HaltelaschenEinschuböffnungen 325 im Fronthauben-Trageschenkel 32 des rechtsseitig angeordneten, ersten Flankenelements 3, wo sie vorerst nur "eingefädelt" waren, eingeschoben werden und dort mit demselben in einen haltemden Eingriff gelangen und letztlich in den beiden Haltelaschen-Ausnehmungen 315 des Montageschenkels 31 des ersten Flankenelements 3 Platz finden.
Gleichzeitig werden bei dem Einschubvorgang die beiden Quer-Haltelaschen 25' an der Schmalseite 204 des Fronthaubenprofils 20, indem sie die HaltelaschenPositionierausnehmungen 415 im Montageschenkel 41 des zweiten Flankenelements 4 verlassen, in analoge,

   ebenfalls der Materialstärke ms entsprechende Breite bs aufweisende schlitzartige Haltelaschen-Ausnehmungen 425 in ProfilhaubenTrageschenkel 42 eingeschoben und kommen dort in haltemden Eingriff mit dem Flankenelement 4.
Auf die beschriebene Weise ist erreicht, dass die Fronthaube 2 wirksam und kippsicher inPosition gehalten ist.
Mittels des in einer entsprechenden Öffnung 260 der Fronthaube 2 linksseitig positionierten Schlosses 6 mit Schlüssel 61 kann der Schloss-Riegel 62 in eine sich an der Innenseite des Fronthauben-Trageschenkels 42 des zweiten Flankenelements 4 abstützende Verriegelungs-Stellung gebracht werden, wodurch eine Verschiebung der Fronthaube 2 nach links und somit ein Ausklinken der Querlaschen 25' und der Längslaschen 25 aus ihrem Eingriff in den beiden Flankenelementen 3 und 4,

   
beispielsweise bei entsprechenden Manipulationen durch nicht Zugriffsberechtigte, vermieden ist.
Die Fig. 2 und 3 zeigen - bei ansonsten gleichbleibenden BezugszeichenBedeutungen - die beiden Flankenelemente 4 und 3 genauer:
Es ist in der Fig. 2 besser als in der Fig. 1 zu erkennen, wie die zu den Seitenrändern 401 hin offenen Haltelaschen-Positionierausnehmungen 415 im "horizontalen" Montageschenkel 41 des zweiten Flankenelements 4, in die etwa der untereinander gleichen Materialstärke ms von nicht gezeigtem Fronthauben-Profil und Flankenelementen 3 und 4 entsprechende geringe Breite bs aufweisenden HaltelaschenEinschubausnehmungen 425 übergehen.
Der oberseitige Abschnitt des umgekanteten Fronthauben-Anliege-Randfortsatzes 422 weist eine rechteckige Ausnehmung 426 auf, durch welche Platz für die Anordnung des zu Fig.

   1 näher erläuterten Verriegelungsschlosses 6 der Fronthaube 2 geschaffen ist, sodass dasselbe beim Einschieben derselben nicht hinderlich ist.
Analog zu dem oben erläuterten iinkseitig gezeigten, zweiten Flankenelement 4 weist das in der Fig. 3 gezeigte erste Flankenelement 3 in seinem "horizontalen" Montageschenkel 31 die beiden, zu den Seitenrändem 301 hin offenen HaltelaschenAufnahmeausnehmungen 315 auf, welche in die - der Materialstärke ms entsprechende geringere Breite bs aufweisenden - schlitzartigen Haltelaschen-Einschubausnehmungen 325 im Fronthauben-Trageschenkel 32 übergehen.
Die Fig.

   4 zeigt - bei ansonsten gleichbleibenden Bezugszeichen-Bedeutungen das Profil 20 der Fronthaube 2 näher, und insbesondere die für deren Halterung in den Flankenelementen 3 und 4 vorgesehenen Quer-Haltelaschen 25<*>an der Schmalseite 204 und Längs-Haltelaschen 25 an der Schmalseite 203 der Fronthaube 2.
Schliesslich zeigt die Fig. 5 - bei ansonsten gleichbleibenden BezugszeichenBedeutungen - die neue Frontabdeckung 100 im fertig zusammengebauten betriebsfertigen Zustand, wie sie die Vorderseite der Geräte, wie z.B. Server-Laufwerke im Gehäuse 5 abdeckt, wobei mittels - die Bügelgriffe 33, 43 an den Montageschenkeln 31, 41 der Flankenelemente 3 und 4 haltender - Schrauben 331, 431 von rückwärts auf den beiden Seitenschürzen 53, 54 des Gehäuses 5 montiert sind.

   Schliesslich sind dort noch die vertikalen Streben 70 eines Racks 7 für die Aufnahme einer Mehrzahl von Gehäusen 5 angedeutet, an welche das - hier gezeigte - Gehäuse 5 mitsamt seiner neuen Frontabdeckung 100 mittels die Langlöcher 314, 414 in den Flankenelementen 3 und 4 durchsetzender - hier nicht dargestellter - Befestigungsschrauben befestigt sind.
