Die Wirkungsweise der Einrichtung ist die folgende : Die Metalltafeln E und F sind in einen elektrischen Stromkreis e, f eingeschaltet, z. B. können sie in einen Stromkreis in Serie mit einem elektrischen Läutewerk und einer Batterie geschaltet sein.

Vielfachkontakt unter Teppichen für Alarm- oder Beleuchtungszwecke, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass eine Anzahl von Kontaktknöpfen aus Kupfer oder anderem Metall in einer isolierenden Platte angeordnet sind, welche Platte wieder zwischen zwei in eine oiektrisctie Leitung eingeschalteter Metallplatten angebracht ist, so dass bei einem auf den Teppich ausgeübten Druck eine Verbindung zwischen dem gedrückten Knopfe und den beiden Metallplatten hergestellt wird.
