  Unterlagsplatte mit auswechselbarer Verschleissplatte für Blockgussformen. 



   In den Stahlwerken wird der flüssige Stahl in Blockformen gegossen, denen als bodenabschluss eine Unterlagsplatte untergelegt ist. Wegen des starken Verschleisses dieser Unterlagsplatten an den Stellen, wo der Stahl aufschlägt, baute man auswechselbare sogenannte Verschleissplatten vorwiegend aus Schamottesteinen ein, die in eine entsprechende Aussparung der Unterlagsplatten eingelassen, durch eiserne   Passstückchen   festgekeilt und mit feuerfester Masse zugeschmiert wurden, damit die eisernen   Passstückchen   nicht mit dem flüssigen Stahl in Berührung kamen. 



   Diese Einrichtung hatte mehrere Überlstände, von denen der wesentlichste der war, dass schon bei geringem Verschleiss die eisernen Passstückchen blossgelegt wurden, mit dem flüssigen Stahl in Berührung kamen und an den Stahl   anschweissten. Dadurch verlor   die feuerfeste   Verschleissplatte   selbst ihren Halt und blieb schliesslich ebenfalls am Block haften, wodurch sie verloren war. 



   Die Erfindung besteht in einer Unterlagsplatte, bei welcher an der Stelle, auf welche der Stahl beim Eingiessen aufschlägt, eine Verschliessplatte aus feuerfester Masse,   Gusseisen   oder dergl., seitlich eingeschoben ist, die durch eine nach oben verjüngte oder sonst geeignete Form gehalten wird.
