EMI1.1

EMI1.1
The present invention relates to a fastening of the blade ring sections in steam and gas turbines by caulking in the grooves, with the groove in its entirety with certainty
EMI1.2
is achieved among each other.
In contrast to the previously known fastenings of the blade ring sections by caulking, after the blade ring sections have been inserted into the groove, a caulking piece is not simply driven in, but rather by inserting a conical shim a beforehand, a space in the groove that tapers downwards is achieved remains, into which the wedge-shaped caulking piece c is driven. The wedge effect is particularly favorable because the pressure generated on both sides causes the sections to be pressed securely against the groove walls. Finally, the protruding head of the insert a is still chipped, so that the wedge cannot yield under the effect of centrifugal force.
The drawing shows exemplary embodiments of the fastening, namely FIG. 1 shows the state before caulking; a is the shim ring, on the retaining ring for the blades, c is the wedge to be caulked; d can mean the shaft or the jacket. Fig. 2 shows the state after caulking. The wedge c was first driven in and then the head of the supplement ring a was chiselled. The notches e screwed into the groove and shim ring are now filled with material. 3, 4, 5, C and 7 show similar embodiments of the groove and the caulking piece, which have the same purpose as explained herein; in Fig. 6 and 7 are
EMI1.3
Groove walls unnecessary.
This fastening has the advantage that the groove is certainly completely filled, that is to say that the entire height of the blade feet is pressed on.
Another advantage is the easy releasability of this caulking, i. H. the solvability without damaging the groove edges of the shaft or cylinder. The unstalked head of the supplement ring only needs to be chiseled away and the wedge then pulled out.
The security of the fastening can be increased even further by turning the shaft groove and the shim ring less, since caulking forces the material to fill these grooves.
