The invention relates to a device for controlling a burner control according to the preamble of the independent claim.
In the case of burner controls, the supply voltage or the mains voltage must be within certain limits to avoid malfunctions. To be sure of related dangers
EMI1.1
Falling below the permissible limit values prevents gas release. In the known solutions, a relay contact is provided which is connected in series with the gas valve.
This contact is constantly closed under normal conditions. This contact is only opened in the event of danger, that is to say when the supply voltage limit values are exceeded or fallen below, which does not result in the risk of a malfunction thereof, such as welding of the contact or failure of the coil controlling it is recognized. In such a case, the expected protective function is no longer given. It is therefore necessary with such solutions. carry out regular checks, but these are often not carried out, which results in corresponding hazards during operation.
The aim of the invention is to avoid these disadvantages and to propose a device of the type mentioned at the outset in which there is constant automatic monitoring of the supply voltage monitoring circuit.
According to the invention, this is achieved by the characterizing features of the independent claim.
These measures ensure that the supply voltage monitoring circuit, which monitors compliance with the voltage tolerances, is also monitored in each burner operating cycle. If the supply voltage is now within the specified tolerance range when the switch is closed due to an existing heat requirement, the control input of the automatic firing unit is controlled accordingly by the output of the supply voltage monitoring circuit in order to open the valve controlling the fuel supply to the burner.
If the supply voltage is not within this tolerance range, the burner control is not activated accordingly and the fuel supply is not released. The fuel supply is interrupted when the supply voltage is beyond the specified tolerance range when the switch controlled by the heat demand is closed.
These measures ensure that the supply voltage monitoring circuit responds each time the switch controlled by the heat demand is opened, since in this case the supply voltage is switched off from the supply voltage monitoring circuit and the firing automat must therefore be controlled accordingly so that the gas supply is activated controlling valve in the sense of a lock of the same. If this does not take place, the overheating protection switch opens, which means that the burner is switched off due to the interrupted supply voltage to the burner control.
On the other hand, a failure of the supply voltage monitoring circuit is recognized immediately if the burner is not switched on when there is an actual heat requirement and a supply voltage within the tolerance range. This ensures control of the supply voltage monitoring circuit during normal operation.
In practice, it can be seen that a possible fault in the supply voltage monitoring circuit can be easily identified, since either the burner control does not switch on when there is a demand for heat, if the supply voltage monitoring circuit does not switch through, or the burner control does not interrupt the fuel supply if there is no or already satisfied heating demand so that the overheating protection switch opens.
The measures according to claim 2 ensure that in the event of a fault, the fuel supply can be switched off in two ways.
The invention will now be explained in more detail with reference to the drawing, which shows a block diagram of a device according to the invention.
In the device according to the invention, an overheating protection switch 3 is connected directly to the first pole 1 of a supply voltage source. A first supply connection 13 of a burner control unit 10 and a switch 4 controlled by the heat requirement are connected to this overheating protection switch 3, the latter being connected in series with an input terminal 6 of a supply voltage monitoring circuit 5, the second input terminal 7 of which is connected to the second pole 2 of the supply voltage source is. This second pole is also connected to a second supply connection (14) of the automatic burner control unit (10).
This supply voltage monitoring circuit 5 checks whether the voltage present at its input terminals 6.7 is within a predetermined tolerance range of the voltage. Is this the
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
If what can only be the case when the overheating protection switch 3 is closed and the switch 4 controlled by the heat requirement is closed, then a signal is sent to the control input terminals 11, 12 of the automatic firing unit 10 via the output terminals 8, 9 of the supply voltage monitoring circuit 5 generates a signal at its control output terminals 15, 16 which causes a gas valve 17 which controls the fuel supply to the burner to open.
If the supply voltage is not within the specified tolerance range of the supply voltage. If the firing control (10) is not activated, the gas valve 17 does not open, or if the supply voltage drifts out of the tolerance range during an existing heat request, the corresponding signal is output from the output terminals 8, 9 of the supply voltage. Monitoring circuit 5 switched off and thus initiated a closing of the valve 17.
