Hierbei wird sich wieder eine geringfügige Anreicherung mit den abzutütenden Bakterien einstellen. Nach einer gewissen Zeit wird dann wieder über das Zeitglied auf die Dekontaminationsstufe umgeschallet. Die Wahl der Zeitintervalle, in denen auf die zweite keimtötende Temperatur umgeschaltet wird, ist von den Betriebsgegebenheiten des Speichers abhängig.
