Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Aufhängung einer Fronttüre von Waschmaschinen, bei welcher der Türrahmen an einem von der Frontwandung der Waschmaschine abstehenden Lagerträger schwenkbar angelenkt ist.

Mit (1) ist die Frontwandung der Waschmaschine bezeichnet, in welcher eine Fronttüre (2) versenkbar einschwenkbar ist. Die Fronttüre (2) ist gegenüber dem Laugenbehälter (3) mittels einer herkömmlichen Lippendichtung abgedichtet. Die Fronttüre ist über ein Bogenschamier (4) am Laugenbehälter befestigt, wobei die Fronttüre (2) am Bogenarm (5) des Bogenschamiers (4) über ein Lager (6) drehbar angelenkt ist. Mit (7) ist der Drehpunkt des Bogenscharniers bezeichnet. Am Bogenarm (5) ist ein Anschlag (8) und an der Fronttüre (2) ein Gegenanschlag (9) vorgesehen, durch welche Kombination die winkelmässige Verschwenkung zwischen dem Bogenarm (5) und der Fronttüre (2) begrenzbar ist.

Zum Schliessen wird als erstes die Fronttüre um die Lagerung (6) in bezug auf den Bogenarm (5) verschwenkt, bis der Gegenanschlag (9) am Anschlag (8) in Anlage kommt. Danach erfolgt das Verschwenken des Bogenscharniers bis in die in Fig. 1 wiedergegebene Lage.
