Abstract

In a pivoting and sliding door for rail vehicles, the door leaf is suspended at the top via a holding angle 1 and via a guide sleeve 2 on a guide rail 3 which is itself mounted in a door frame via pendulum arms 5. For longitudinal movement, the guide sleeve 2 is driven via a connecting member 9 by the belt 8 of a pneumatic cylinder drive 7. Since the door leaf and therefore the holding angle are to be guided parallel to the door frame during the pivoting movement of the pendulum arms 5 and there are no transverse force to be exerted on the belt 8, the connecting member 9, on the one hand, is mounted rotatably on the guide sleeve 2 and, on the other hand, is connected rigidly to the belt 8, the pneumatic cylinder drive 7 being fastened between the pendulum arms (5). <IMAGE>
