Fig. 1 zeigt einen Wechselstrom-Motor in Steinmetz-Schaltung und Fig. 2 einen Einphasen-Wechselstrom-Motor mit einer um 900 versetzten Hilfswicklung.

The invention relates to a circuit arrangement for an AC motor in single-phase operation with an operating capacitor in an engine phase or in the auxiliary phase and with a starting capacitor which can be connected in parallel with this operating capacitor and can be switched off via a switch after the starting process.
So far, an additional circuit with ohmic was used for such motors for tip operation
Resistors are provided in parallel and in series with the starting capacitor. The starting capacitor is connected in parallel with the capacitor arranged between the main winding and auxiliary winding during the motor starting process. DE-OS 1810885 describes a starting circuit for collectorless single-phase AC motors, in which a capacitor is connected to the series connection of two phase windings and is connected to the series connection of a single-pole starting switch and a starting capacitor to increase the starting torque.
The disadvantage here is that high current peaks occur when the starting capacitor is switched on. This first current peak is caused by transient processes in the RC circuit, the voltage at the capacitor acting as the driving voltage in conjunction with the voltage at the starting capacitor which has not yet decayed. The consequence of this current peak was welding of the switch contacts, which are supposed to disconnect the starting capacitor after the starting process. By welding the contacts, either the capacitor or the winding was damaged.
The object of the invention is therefore to provide a circuit arrangement for a motor of the type mentioned at the outset which avoids the above disadvantages, has no additional components and prevents welding of the switch contacts.
The circuit arrangement according to the invention for an AC motor is characterized in that the starting capacitor can be switched to a tapped-out tap of the motor winding or the auxiliary winding and that one of the winding parts of the tap winding of the tapped winding
15% of the total winding is connected as a damping resistor between the two capacitors connected on one side.
With the invention it is possible for the first time to properly avoid the current peaks in the start-up process. It is also advantageous that no further components are used. A
The main advantage of the invention is, however, that no energy is wasted
Switching contact takes place and therefore no welding occurs.
In addition, the invention represents a technically simple solution which, when using inexpensive, simple switching relays, allows the starting capacitor to be switched on and off properly. It offers great economic advantages, especially for small single-phase motors.
With the guideline value of about 15% of the total winding as a damping winding, an optimal starting process of the engine was achieved in the tests that were carried out. This value of the
However, the winding part is not to be regarded as an absolute value.
The invention is explained in more detail on the basis of exemplary embodiments which are illustrated in the drawings. 1 shows an AC motor in a Steinmetz circuit and FIG. 2 shows a single-phase AC motor with an auxiliary winding offset by 900.
1, the normally wound three-phase motor 1 has its three windings --2, 3, 4--, the windings --2, 3-- lying on the single-phase network --5--. The winding --4- is connected to the mains --5-- via a capacitor --6--.
For the starting process, the starting capacitor --7-- is connected in parallel to the capacitor --6, whereby part of the winding --4-- is connected as a resistor --8-- between the capacitors --6, 7-- connected in parallel . The winding --4-- has a tapped -9-- for this purpose. The start capacitor --7-- is switched off via switch --10-- after the start-up process.
2, a single-phase AC motor --11-- is equipped with an auxiliary winding --13-- in addition to its main winding --12--. In addition to the capacitor --14--, this motor also has a starting capacitor --15--. The starting capacitor --15-- is switched on via the relay --16-- during the starting process. A part --17-- of the auxiliary winding --13 is connected into the parallel connection of the capacitor --14-- and the starting capacitor --15--, whereby the auxiliary winding --13-- has a tap --18-- .
