The invention relates to a stamp or test badge, in particular for motor vehicle license plates, with a badge lower part that can be connected to a back plate or the license plate by means of at least one rivet and a badge upper part that can be snapped into this and overlaps the end faces of the riveted connection, with each badge lower part around the edge Bore for the rivet shaft, a flange attachment is provided which protrudes into the bore of the back plate or the license plate that receives the rivet shaft. Since modern license plates are often made of aluminum, stamp plates have often been replaced by the license plate by pulling the rivet heads through the relatively soft metal of the license plate.
The invention solves the problem of preventing such a detachment of the stamp badges.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that a securing plate, in particular made of sheet steel, is arranged on the side of the back plate or the license plate facing away from the lower part of the badge, which in the area of each riveted connection has the same diameter as the bore in the back plate or in the license plate having and is provided with this aligned bore into which the flange projection at least partially protrudes, the rivet head provided on the locking plate end of the rivet shaft being supported on the locking plate.
Two exemplary embodiments of the invention are explained in more detail below with reference to the drawings. 1 shows a section through a lower part of a badge riveted to a back plate, and FIG. 2 shows a second embodiment, also in section.
1 shows a lower badge part - 1 - in the undercut of which an upper badge part (not shown) can be latched in such a way that the upper badge part covers the riveted connections between the lower badge part and a back plate - 3 -.
EMI1.1
--4-- of the lower part of the badge --1-- has holes --5-- with - l-- and are therefore made of a relatively resistant material, for example sheet steel, and are thus capable of the softer rivets made of copper or aluminum --8 - to protect.
In order to prevent the rivet heads from being pulled through the relatively soft metal of the license plate, a securing plate provided with holes --9-- is placed on the side facing away from the lower part of the badge between the back plate --3-- and the rivet heads, which securing plate- -9 is preferably made of sheet steel and its assembly is significantly facilitated by the fact that the shoulders --6-- protrude in the axial direction over the rear surface of the backplate -3- into the holes in the locking plate -9-.
The advantages of the invention are also achieved if, in a modification of the embodiment described, the approaches are not provided on the bottom of the lower part of the badge - 3 - but on the securing plate --9 '- as can be seen from FIG. These flange attachments - 10 - protrude through aligned bores in the lower part of the badge - 1 - and the back plate - 3 - and fulfill
EMI1.2
--6-- according to Fig. 1 - 9 '- are pushed from the rear through the back plate --3-- and then the lower part of the badge --l-- is attached, after which the rivets through the openings in the lower part of the badge, the The back plate and the locking plate are pushed and the structural bond is riveted.
