Description

   <Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Fig. 1 stellt ein gepolstertes
Fig. 2 zeigt die Armlehne im
Längsschnitt.

Has armrests protruding support that snap into corresponding openings in the chair.

Known seating furniture with removable armrests have the disadvantage that the armrests are temporarily not needed and their storage requires a lot of space. According to the German Offenlegungsschrift 1529539, a body support of the type mentioned is known which can be attached to various locations by means of magnets. However, this has the disadvantage that the user of the chair runs the risk of having sensitive
Objects, such as a wristwatch, come into the area of influence of the magnets. The invention aims to avoid this disadvantage.

According to the invention, the supports of the armrests are designed as spiral springs, preferably V-shaped and connected to one another via their inner legs. The outer legs have a bead or the like. In one
Latch of the opening engages resiliently.

According to a further feature of the invention, pressure plates which can be actuated from the outside are arranged at the ends of the outer legs of the carrier.

The subject matter of the invention is demonstrated using an exemplary embodiment. Fig. 1 shows a padded
Seating furniture in which the right armrest is used as a headrest. Fig. 2 shows the armrest in
Longitudinal section.
